Kat's just wanted her old friend back nothing else. She didn't want to have to fight her friend, her mom was making her fight her friend with her sword.
Kat has no other option other than to fight her friend.
Kat and Jessie go down to the stadium. They don't notice they are there at the same time. Kat signs up and says she physically is fighting not only with her words, but with her sword too. Jessie signed up and said he wanted the bear claw for his weapon. Two different people, two best friends, two weapons, two hearts , and two enemies going head to head.
As Kat says "The war is never over it just begins over and over again."
Jessie awaits for his mother to tell him good luck but she never showed up.
While Kat is talking to her mother.
"Kat, listen you can not kill you just hurt if you kill him then you will be the enemy that everyone hates because you killed a royal."
"Then why do I need my sword?"
The queen just pointed to Jessie to see his bear claw and to only see his dad there with him.
Kat felt bad only because she felt like she needed to be there as a friend but she has to fight him. For the fans out there. To see how she might have to challenge him and to get her friend back.
"Kat don't forget this game can change you and make you to a bad person and scare you. if you kill him everything will change." ]
That was stuck in her head "Kill him everything is going to change?"
she would never kill someone that is not what the game is about. Its about trying to get a bully to go back to a regular person and now Kat's mother is changing the rules to now fight with a weapon?
Kat's older now so she sees why everything is changing around her.
"Game starting in 30 seconds please get into your position" said the gamer voice.
Kat steps up into the arena with a shed of tear. She see's Jessie and smirks and waves. Jessie just gave her an eye. that hurt her feelings. So now she has her game attitude to win. The game is for 16 weeks 32 hours 12 minutes 52 seconds once the game starts.
"Bye mother, I'll see you in awhile" Kat said.
Queen Laya just waved and smiled.
"5...,4...,3...,2...,1...,0" counted down the man.
As soon as the game had started Kat and Jessie came face to face Kat said
"A man like you can't afford to lose to a girl like me"
Kat pulls her sword out and begins to fight with Jessie and his bear claws
"The only way you will win is if you knock me down and make me cry." Kat says in anger
"I won't let you win Kat, you have to much you win all the time."
