Living in New York City with my mom my whole life, was just what I was use to; just the two of us. I loved the  big city, and all the chaos around me 24/7. But since I've began highschool, life hasn't been so great. My mom's realized too, and she's been worried. Freshman year wasn't too bad; I had no friends, but I liked school, enough for me to stay. Sophomore year was when I began getting bullied, but not to an extent where I felt uncomfortable, and scared to go to school. And now, it's junior year and I just don't know what to do anymore. I feel so distant from everyone around me, and not myself. It's sickening how people make fun of me everyday, and I can't help but run home everyday and cry myself to sleep, hoping that the next day would maybe get better. "Honey, you need a new start. Just for a little bit. I can't take it anymore. Seeing you like this. I just... I just can't." I looked up at her with pleading eyes, trying to think of some scenario that would make things better. "I think you should go live with my best friend for awhile. Just for a year. It'll help you get your mind off of things." At this point, I couldn't refuse because I just was so unhappy that I couldn't think of anything else to do.

I know my mom has told me about her best friend living in England but I never actually got to know her. I met her a few times when I was little, but it felt strange, me now on a plane to a small town to live with people I barely even know. My mom met her friend Anne in college when she studied in London. They always kept in touch, so I'm guessing thats how she knows what my situation has been these past few years. "Ladies and gentlemen we will be landing in Heathrow airport shortly. I hope you enjoy your stay." I begin gathering the things scattered around me like my headphones and spare magazines I bought for the flight and I stick them in my carry on bag under my feet. Before I know it, I'm walking off the plane to gather my two suitcases. Once I have everything I need, I begin walking towards the pickup section, where family and friends wait for people they're picking up from their flight. I recognize Anne immediately, and she's standing with her son and daughter. Both Anne and her daughter have huge smiles on their faces, except her son. "Ellie it's so nice to see you! Last time I saw you, you were quite tiny. Well this is my daughter Gemma, and uh my son Harry." Gemma seemed pleased to see me, but Harry just stood their with furrowed eyebrows as I put my hand out for him to shake. Anne nudged him, "Harry be nice." He finally shakes my hand lightly before running off ahead of us to the car. Anne and Gemma ask me about my mom, and how New York is but the whole time, I keep thinking about her son. He was quite handsome and tall. I could tell he was extremely muscular and well maintained.

It took a few hours to get to Cheshire, the small town that I would call home from now on. Anne walked me up the small walkway that lead to her house. The house was a tiny little brick house alligned with several other similar houses. She took me around the house, pointing out where everything was and what room was which. Finally she lead me up the stairs and down the hall to the last door. "Since we have limited rooms, you'll be sharing a room with Harry. You both are the same age and will be going to school together, and Gemma is at university so I thought it would be best you two staid together." "Oh of course it's no problem." But in fact it was a problem. I could already tell that Harry had something against me, probably the fact that I was completely invading his privacy. The room had two twin beds on each side and a few of Harry's belongings scattered around his obvious side of the room. As I examined the room, I felt Anne brush past me. "Ellie, if you need anything, I'll be in my room freshening up for bed. Goodnight, sleep well." I smiled at her and began getting ready for bed. I was quite tired from jetlag and the long flight. Just as I got comfortable in my bed, I saw a dark figure come through the doorway. I felt myself slightly jump, but slowly calm down realizing it was just Harry.

"Look, I'm really sorry for me having to stay in your room and everything. I know if I had to share a room with a complete stranger, I wouldn't like it myself." He suddenly turned around, and stared at me with his green eyes so intently, I didn't know if I should look away so quickly. He began unbuttoning his shirt right then and there, and I couldn't help but admire his toned body as the fabric glided off his body. I was startled when he began speaking, "Just stay away from my side of the room. We aren't friends. Ok? Ok." His voice was was extremely husky and deep. I couldn't take my eyes off of him as he slipped into his bed. It was strange, already feeling so strange around a boy I've only talked to once, and who I could tell was a dick. I turned onto my side and reached over to the side table and turned off the light. "Goodnight Harry." He didn't even respond. I could really tell he didn't want anything to do with me.

I woke up the next morning extremely early, still stuck in my usual time zone. It was around four in the morning, and I can hear Harry faintly snoring not far from me. I tiptoed to my opened suitcase by my bed, and pulled out my toothbrush and other little neccesities I needed along with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. I quietly opened the bedroom door and went to the bathroom. I decided to take a quick shower to fully wake myself up and then I threw on my clothes and a small amount of makeup; just enough to keep me satisfied with my appearance. I sat in the kitchen for a good few hours devouring a few bowls of cereal and before I knew it, it was seven in the morning and everyone in the house slowly made their way downstairs fully dressed and ready for the day.

"Oh! You're up! How did you sleep?". I could already tell that Anne was obviously a morning person by her greeting. "Oh yeah fine. I woke up at four though, ya know jetlag and everything." I sat there for a bit fumbling with my fingers a little nervous that today I was about to start school. Harry eventually casually walked in, not saying good morning to either Anne or I. "Excuse me Harry where are your manners?" "Oh yeah hi mum." I noticed Anne roll her eyes and me, and then walk over to Harry. "You both are going to be late for school, and yes Harry that means you will be driving Eliie." He grunted and then slowly made his way towards me, nudging me slightly signalling that it was time to go. I waved goodbye to Anne and grabbed my old backpack from New York. I followed Harry up to his range rover, where to my surprise he actually opened the door for me. "Oh uh thank you."

The whole drive, Harry was silent. I tried to strike up a conversation, but that seemed difficult with him. I occasionally turned to admire his profile. He had such a sharp jaw line, and perfectly pink lips. His curls falled perfectly onto his forehead and his eyes were so incredibly green. I had to snap out of my daydream of just admiring how beautiful he actually was and realize that we were in front of the school. I hopped out of the car just as Harry did. I turned around and already he was gone and walking towards a group of his friends. I was left on my own, and I was quite afraid.
