Purdy's Problems

Chapter 3

The guys had come back and they all ate. It was getting late but Andy didn't want to leave Ashley.

Ashley's Nan and Pop was to old to try and stay at the hospital so Andy offered them to stay at his house. Knowing it might be to hard to stay at Ashley's. They had brought Tokyo and Killer back with them.

"Andy we brought Ashley's dogs back with us." Nan.

"It's ok Nan my cats Crow and Femme gets along with Tokyo and Killer. You can bring them to my house. And please make yourself at home. I won't be coming home I can't leave Ashy alone. Jinxx will call you tomorrow before picking you up." Andy.

"Thank you Andy. You really do love him don't you?" Pop.

"Yes sir with all my heart." Andy.

The next day after everyone got there two hours later Dr. Isaacs showed up. "Mr. and Mrs. Purdy may I speak with you privately?"

"What you need to say to us you can say in front of all of them. They are family too." Nan and Pop agreed.

"Very well then. I've looked at Ashley's vitals and his vitals have lowered some. Which means he has slipped into a coma. We'll watch him closely to see if there are any changes. Like I said he will most likely have some brain damage." Dr. Isaacs.

"Oh my. My sweet Ashley." Nan.

ONE WEEK LATER

It's been a week and Andy has barely left Ashley's bedside. All he did was go to the bathroom and come right back. If it wasn't for the guys or the Purdy's Andy probably wouldn't be eating.

While every night the guys went home and his grandparents went to Andy's home for the night.

Ashley was still in a coma. But today was going to be different. After everyone showed up. Dr. Isaacs had noticed that Ashley's vitals were suddenly dropping.

"Excuse me. I need nurses in here STAT..." Dr. Isaacs.

Andy stood up, "What's going on?"

Suddenly Andy heard Ashley's heart monitoring machine start beeping. Beep beep beep beeeep beeeeeeeep.

"Ashley's vitals are dropping fast." Dr. Isaacs.

Beeeeeeeeeeeeepppppp then it went flatline.

"GET A CRASH CART IN HERE STAT!!!" Dr. Isaacs.

Suddenly nurses came running in with a crash cart. "Charge it to 200. CLEAR!" Dr. Isaacs. Dr. Isaacs shocked Ashley, nothing.

"Nothing Dr. Isaacs." nurse Kayla.

"Charge to 300. CLEAR!!!" Dr. Isaacs. He shocked Ashley again.

"Nothing Dr. Isaacs." nurse.

"Charge to 400. CLEAR!!!" Dr. Isaacs. He shocked Ashley again.

"Nothing Dr. Isaacs." nurse.

"Ok... Charge to 450. CLEAR!!!" Dr. Isaacs....

Andy was watching and crying screaming Ashley's name. "ASHY! ASHY! ASHY!"

Dr. Isaacs was checking his vitals when suddenly Ashley gasped. "We've got him back."Then Dr. Isaacs shined his pen light in Ashley's eyes.

Ashley moaned...

"We've got him back. And he's awake." Dr. Isaacs.

Andy wanted to run to him but he let the Purdy's go to their grandson first.

"Ashley sweetheart your awake." Nan.

"Nan, Pop. Where am I?" Ashley.

"Ashley you're in the hospital." Pop.
