Hold on. The door's open.

I ran over and looked inside, to see my brother, Zeref, facing Luce. His hand was held out towards her, and she was taking it.
"Luce! Wait!" I cried running over.

But it was too late.

She had disappeared, along with Zeref, leaving me alone. She said something before she left; I saw her lips move, but I didn't hear.

She left me. Again.

----

(Lucy's POV)

I reached out my hand to touch Zeref's outstretched one, and everything went white. When I could see again, I was lying on another bed; one I'd never seen before. The entire room looked different. Where was I?

I got up, noticing that my maid outfit had changed into a princess's dress, and walked over to the door. As it opened it made a loud, creaking noise.

"Where are you going?" A calm voice asked from behind me. I spun around swiftly to see Zeref, standing in what was an empty space two seconds ago.

"Well.... I-" I was interrupted.
"You need to stay here so you won't get lost, Wife." He smirked.
"Wife?" I asked.
"Don't you remember? The whole speech about you being the princess and marrying the heir?"
"Yes, bu-"
"Well, we're engaged anyway, so I can call you my wife if I want to." He smiled, quite sinisterly.

"W-where's my d-dad?" I asked. "Y-you said you could bring him back to life."
"Ah yes." He said, walking closer to me. "I will bring him back to life, but you must do something for me first."
"W-what?" I mumbled.
"Give me your soul." He ordered, slamming his lips into mine.

(Natsu's POV)

She left me. Again. I have to save her.

"Where could they have gone to?" I asked myself, rapidly pacing up and down my room. "Think think think!"
"Master Natsu?" I turned round and saw Virgo peeking through the door. "Are you okay?"
"I've got it!" I yelled, ignoring Virgo.

"Fetch me Happy." I ordered. I had an idea of where they might be, but I'll need wings to get there.

(Lucy's POV)

Our lips parted, and I felt all the joy and serenity from inside me disappear, leaving me with only troubles and despair.
"I'll be back in a minute, Wife." Zeref said, dissipating into the air.

What have I done?

I collapsed onto my knees, staring at the plain wall. It's okay. He'll bring my dad back.

After a while, the door opened, revealing Zeref, but behind him was a horror I never wanted to see. I stared in fear at the monster that was walking behind him.

Its skin was filled with cuts and bruises, joints were dislocated, many features on its face were either missing or broken. It looked like a zombie.
"W-wh-who....?" I couldn't speak out of fear.
"Why, this is your father, Lucy. The one that raised you." Zeref smiled. "I told you I could bring him back."

"T-tha-that's n-not m-my da-dad!" I stuttered, shaking in terror.
"Yes it is." He replied sharply. "This is what he looked like after he died, when I found his corpse."

"D-dad?" I turned to look at it, when it slowly twisted its head to look at me, its eyes swollen and bloodshot. It lifted a hand and pointed to me.
"Mmmm.... Food..." It mumbled, stepping closer to me.

I looked over to Zeref, who just smirked like a madman.
"Can't you make it stop!?" I yelled to Zeref.
"But this is what you wanted, right?" He knew this would happen.

He is evil.

I stood up and backed away from it, but I fell backwards into the bed.
"W-wait!" I cried, holding my hands in front of me. It carried on.

This is it. It's over.

Then I heard a loud gunshot, and the zombie collapsed in the floor in front of me.

"NATSU!!!"
