Sota Sage : Chapter 1 : Ambush

Anyways! I'm adding in something just as Naruto gets back and before he sees Temari and Shikamaru!

I was currently crouched on a tall roof, overlooking my home village. I closed my eyes and inhaled the scent of the village smells of cooking.

The wind caught my new found outfit. It was a red cloak that when the wind caught it just right, it would flow out behind me. The front tails hung to my middle thighs that was covered in the spandex jumpsuit Lee had given to me for my birthday. I had....made adjustments to it. Anyways...the back flaps had small spades connected to it like the ribbon Ino had given to me. I asked for it to be custom made. I had given my spiked collar to Akaine, who was right next to me.

On my arms and calves were spikes like a dragons back. Great for damage points when in a Taijutsu battle. I had asked for a heeled pair of boots with a pair of combat boots with the spikes. My hood was over my face, hiding it from view. My collar tucked up to my neck with a dragon scale from Moku over my heart on the suit. The Bow Naruto gave me was across my back with the Quiver. my ANBU mask was in my pack in my apartment. My necklaces were on underneath, still vibrant with the persons chakra.

Akaine whined and sat back on his haunches. I had caught a glimpse of Akamaru and found Akaine was MUCH thinner and leaner than him. Dragons trying to eat you will whip you into shape in no time. He was healthy, don't get me wrong, but I think Kiba gives Akamaru junk food.

"Da da?" I felt movement on my neck. I felt Minato move to peek out. Yes, it's the same Minato that I talked to as a ghost. Don't ask me how, but all I knew was asking him if he could be an animal. The power knocked me out and when I woke up, a little yellow sloth with red and orange cuffs (AN: Like that new caveman movie. Da da da! It sings when the mammoth falls or whatever...I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE SLOTH!!!! SUE ME!) was sitting on my stomach. We can speak to each other normally like I do to Akaine.

I had just arrived, early in the morning. Moku had already told Tsunade I had arrived. I knew I had arrived before Naruto cause I didn't hear him or sense his chakra. Or any trace of a scent of him.

Sighing, I jumped off and ran towards a training ground near the school. Might as well start training while I was waiting for the bundle of blonde joy to arrive. Akaine followed and Minato fell asleep around my neck.

I grabbed a practice stick and set my gear next to Akaine as he settled under a tree to sleep. I started doing warm ups, twirling and thrusting the stick around.

By early afternoon, still no sign of them. I smelt Kakashi around, but not near me. I kept twirling the stick and kicking in mid air.

"Hiyah!" I yelled as I landed in a kick. "Hiyah!" Voices chirped. I jumped and looked over to see a group of children. Both boy and girl alike.

"Hi?" They all smiled at me as a little boy stepped forward. "Are you Sota Sage? Daughter of the toad man?" I snickered. Toad Man...good one.

"I am." I said and they all went wide puppy dog eyed. "Can you train us, Sota-sensei! Please!" I blinked abd mentally sweat dropped. Sensei? Now I feel old...I feel bad for Kakashi now...

"I'm still learning myself..." I reasoned. "Please!" They all started to beg...ugh...kids are so annoying...yet SO DARN CUTE! Why me?

Once they started advancing on me, I dropped the stick and held up my hands. "Okay! Okay! I...guess I can show you a few moves." The little boy turned to the others.
