Sota Sage : Chapter 4 : Emergency Mission

"You three sure have grown, haven't you? I'm surprised you were able to get the bells." Kakashi said as we walked through the village for the first time in 2 and a half years. "Hehe! Maybe I've surpassed you, Kakaashi!" I rilled my eyes and shook my head at him. "What are you saying? Such conceit..." I sighed and gave her a look to tell her not to feed into this. She nodded and let it go. "I'm still young and quite recently, developed a brilliant new Jutsu." I crossed my arms and looked over at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Why didn't you use it during training?" I asked as I came next to him. "It takes a lot of Chakra." He said, glancing at me and I nodded. "Do you still have it?" He asked and I nodded, taking out his necklace he got me of a Crystal Dragon. It was mostly used because I didn't want to drain it all in one go. Holding it out, he grasped it and I felt his chakra flow from him and into my necklace. As it became full, he disappeared. I sweat dropped as two familiar figures caught my eyes. 

"Pineapple! Temari!" I beamed and they nodded at me. "Glad to see you're okay, Sota." Pineapple said and Temari nodded. "Gave us a scare back there." I scratched my cheek. "Have you changed at all?" Sakura scoffed. "No he hasn't." Naruto got a depression cloud around him and I quickly went to his side. "It's ok, Naru-Kun. I think you've changed." He looked up at me with those shiny blue orbs. "Y-you do, Pervy Sage?" I got a huge tick mark and clenched my fist. 

"Why are you guys here?" Sakura asked and the two sighed as I hit Naruto. "S-Sota!" He gasped. "The Chunnin exams." That caught all of our attention. "That brings back memories." Naruto said and I frowned, rubbing my neck where I was dosed with poison.  Memeories flashed through my mind when Orochimaru attacked Konoha and killed Gramps....

"-nning, Naruto?" I blinked and looked up. "The only one from our class who hasn't become a chunnin is you, Naruto." A silence followed. "EEEHHHHH!? Then! Then! Your a chunnin, Sakura?" She nodded and gave her peace sign. "Well, Sota is still a Jonin. Temari and Neji, Kankuro and Temari are Jounins already." Pineapple said and Naruto paused. "Then....what about Gaara?" He asked and I nodded, curious t what he would say. "He's Kazekage of the Sand now." I beamed. "Go Gaara!" I beamed and they chuckled at me but I sighed. 

"I better go find Papa." I said and looked at Naruto and Sakura. "Go on. He probably misses you." Naruto said with his smile that I couldn't help but return. "Arigato, Naru-Kun." I said and wrapped my arms around him. I heard the three giggle as Naruto patted my back awkwardly. I pulled away to see his red face. "I'll find you guys later. Just whistle if you need me." They nodded and I teleported away toa far building Papa might be at. Sighing when I didn't smell his scent, I frowned and looked around. This might take longer than I thought....

I landed next to Sakura and Naruto after they whistled for me. "You called?" I asked and they nodded. "Kakashi-Sensei told us to meet here but he's not here yet. AGAIN." Sakura seethed. "Did you find Pervy Sage?" Naruto asked and I shook my head. "No." I frowned and Naruto patted my back gently. "We'll find him together later, okay Sota-Chan?" I nodded and gave him a sincere smile. "I'll hold you to that, Naru-Kun." I said and he chuckled, pink dashed upon his cheeks. 

"YOU'RE LATE!" Sakura yelled and I looked over to see Kakashi stop a few feet away. "Sorry. The write up's took longer than I thought..." He trailed off while rubbing the back of his head. "This is our teams first mission, and you don't care! You're always like that!" I slapped the back of Naruto's head. "Naruto! Don't speak like that to him! Write up documents do take quite some time. Papa had to do it and it took hours." I said and he pouted at me. "Gomen, Sota-Chan." He said and I crossed my arms, raising an eyebrow. "Sorry Kakashi-Sensei." Kakashi blinked in shock before shuttering his eyelids.
