When Edward & I arrived in the entertainment room, he spotted a couple of his friends. He looked at me and back to his friends. He pursed his lips.

I sighed. "Go. You deserve some time with your friends."

He gave me his dazzling crooked smile, wrapping his arms around my waist as he kissed me. He pulled away, still smiling.

"This is one of the reasons why I love you." he whispered.

I gave him a quick kiss on his lips.

"Well, I love you too. Go. Hang with the guys. I'll be around."

"Hang with the guys?" he shook his head, laughing away.

"Sometimes you say the strangest things."

He unwrapped his arms off me and approached his friends. They greeted him warmly with handshakes and smiles that reached their eyes. As they chatted with Edward, Edward would throw a glance at me every two minutes. I gave him a reassuring smile.

"Isabella!" Rosalie threw her arms around me.

"Oh, this few days have been the longest time I have never seen you for!"

"Hey Rose," I greeted.

She was wearing a green dress that let her golden soft hair stand out and her smile was one that belonged to a supermodel's. She let go of me and kissed my cheek.

"I missed you. How has the married life been treating you?" she asked.

I shrugged.

"It's okay."

She frowned.

"Well, it's obviously much better than what you just said." She picked up a glass of champagne from a waiter with a tray passing by. She took a sip and licked her lips.

"Did anything happen?" I asked.

"You know, while I was gone."

She shook her head.

"Nothing interesting. Same old, same old."

"It's been dreadfully boring without me, wasn't it?" I teased her, nudging her shoulder.

She rolled her eyes.

"I hate to admit it but yes. Wasn't the weather absolutely lovely today?"

I didn't mean to, but I snorted.

"Please. It's very hot today. Why bother to ask about the weather? And isn't it weird to talk about it?"

She shrugged.

"So how are you?"

I smiled.

"I'm doing great. You have got to visit us sometime. The house is huge! Oh, and Edward just told me yesterday that we have a cleaning crew! I have never seen them, but it's always clean everywhere! They must be ninjas or something!" I exclaimed.

She laughed.

"Well, that's just how it goes. The elite doesn't get to see what people who work for them do."

I frowned.

"That's harsh."

She nodded in agreement.

"It is harsh. My family clears out our old items and donate them to the less fortunate every year, remember? It's such a pity that life is unfair for everyone."

"Oh, Isabella!" I heard a familiar voice call my name and I looked to my right.

Tanya was there smiling at me with her pearly white teeth. I totally forgot about her and Kate throughout the whole week.
