-Chapter 12-

Logan

I sat in the chair of one of the guestrooms of my dads mansion, looking at Rose as she looked around trying to figure out where she was.

"You're safe Rose" i said walked up to her.

"Where am i ?" She asked looking around.

"My dads house" i replied walking to the door.

"Why am i here?"

"To find out the truth" i reply and walk out the door.

I walked out that door knowing if she found out the truth she wouldn't even dare to talk to me again.

"Oh. Logan" i heard my dad say behind me.

I stopped in my tracks.

"Yes. Father?"

"Did you bring her, i can't wait to meet her and tell her the wonderful new-

"Dad it's not wonderful news! We have a poor girl in there turning into a vampire in two weeks! She already has alot going on and you're going to throw this on her telling her that her mother is your close buddy! And her dad just died.. And we didn't tell her that she is a princesses yet. It too much.. Tell me dad do you not have a heart at all?" I said looking at him sternly.

He stood there shocked at my words.

"She's turning eighteen in two weeks?" He asked stunned rubbing his forehead.

I scoffed and stormed passed him.

"Where are you going?" He asked turning around.

"Not here. I will make sure i have no part in this" i spat and left the house.

Rose

I sat on the bed bored and hungry out of my life.

The door suddenly opened and a dark haired man with eyes a shade blue darker than Logan's and in a suit walked in the room. He looked like him so i assumed he was his dad.

"Rose! He said excitedly and stepped into the room. "We have been expecting you dear" he said motioning me to come.

I slowly got up and followed the man to a large two door room. A brunette woman sat in a chair across from the rooms. She kinda looked like me only her eyes had a green texture to it.

"Hello, Rose, sit we have lots to discuss" she said motioning me to sit. I sat and heard the doors close behind me. The doors made a loud creaking sound that came with a thud that made me jump.

I looked at the young woman and saw the resemblance. She had dark brunette highlighted green hair and green grey eyes.

She was beautiful.

"Now Rose, Logan has brought you here to find out the truth; the truth about your life." She said leaning close to me and onto the desk in front of her.

"What do mean.. Uhh" i said searching for a name

"My name is Astrid Dawson" she said and smiled warmly.

"Okay Astrid what are we talking about here?"

"I'm your mother and i am half vampire and human, your dad is full vampire and that makes you half vampire but on your eighteen birthday you have to be turned"

I starred at her blankly. I wanted to laugh at her nonsense. Vampires don't exist. There just stories and myths.

"Your kidding right?"

"No dear, why would we bring you here to stay with us if we was"

"What! Stay with you?!"

She looked at me shocked at my words. This woman was insane.

"Logan didn't tell you" she asked raising an eyebrow.

No he did not tell me. So all this time he was lying to me. Telling me nothing was going on. That he was fine.

"No he did not!" I yelled standing up

"Sit down Rose" Logan's dad called to me

"Are you people insane?"

"No Rose we can show you we are vampires if you don't believe me." She said getting up and walking to me.

"What are you doing?" I said in a panic.

I closed my eyes and opened them to see pointy white pearls starring at me. I stepped back for a minute as long as i starred i was beginning to get curious.

"Oh my god" i said covering my mouth.

"There real, wanna touch them"

"No" I've been convinced" i said looking down.

"Can i go now?"

"If you wish to sleep, go in Logan's room" his dad said motioning me to come.

I followed and looked back at Astrid. She was smiling warmly but i could see worry in her eyes. These people are insane. They expect me to believe they are vampires and i'm becoming one too. I hope it is another way out of this. I couldn't turn into the vampires that i see in movies. I just couldn't.
