A Long Lost Fairy (Laxus x Reader)

Chapter 2

-Erza's pov-

We stared at the strange girl, (y/n), for a bit before I cleared my throat, breaking the awkward silence. "So, (y/n)..." I started, causing her to snap her gaze onto me. Her bright (e/c) eyes were a bit disconcerting, but I continued my thought. "How old are you "
"I'm 20." (I apologize if you're not really twenty I just think it's the perfect age where you're not too old but you're not young enough for your relationship with Laxus isn't creepy and pedofilish. (He's 23 if you didn't know.))
"When did you join Fairy Tail?"
"I was five so.... About 15 years ago."
"What magic do you use?"
"I'm a third generation dragon slayer."
"Who raised you...?"
"That's where it gets a little more... Complicated." The (h/c) haired girl stated. "What do you mean?" Natsu asked. She shifted around a bit, looking slightly uncomfortable. "I mean the dragon I was raised by, who taught me magic."
"Did he leave July 7, x0777?"
"No... Not necessarily... I left him right before I joined Fairy Tail..."
"Then what is it...?"
(Y/n) shook her head, refusing to answer Natsu. He opened her mouth to protest, but she glared at him, effectively shutting him up. I hadn't thought it possible, but she's rather terrifying when she wants to be. Her laid back demeanor and young, innocent appearance disguised that fact. As soon as she was certain Natsu wouldn't ask, she flipped the switch and was back to happy-go-lucky. I sighed, but soon realized something. "You left Fairy Tail ten years ago, yes...?"
"Yup!"
"Who would you say your best friend was...?"
"Oh, that's an easy one. Laxus Dreyar." She answered, a light tint of pink now on her cheeks. From that reaction, I'd say she wanted to be more then 'just friends'... She cleared her throat, and the blush was gone. "Anyway.... It was nice talking to you guys, but I've gotta go. I said that in ten years if I wasn't back to have everyone should assume I'm dead and hold a funeral for me. I've got 24 hours to get back. So yeah. Bye!" She exclaimed, turning on her heel and running off in the direction of Magnolia, her exceed, Ace, in tow.
