It was a normal summer day for me, I was in my room, air conditioner on blast due to the sweltering heat, wearing yoga pants and a tank top, watching Jacksepticeye while eating some dollar store snacks and chugging bottle after bottle of Diet Coke.
I heard my mom in the living room, watching All In The Family, and it was the episode where Sammy Davis Jr visits the Bunkers. I was a huge Sammy Davis Jr. Fan and would give anything to have an opportunity like that. Oh well, maybe in my wildest dreams.
As soon as another one of Jacks Happy Wheels videos began, the all too familiar saying of "Top of the morning to ya laddies my name is Jacksepticeye" coincided with the sound of my ringtone of Shake It Off by Taylor Swift.
I looked at the caller ID, and it was my aunt, Dianna, I paused the video and answered my phone.
"Hello" I said
"Makayla?" I heard my aunt say
"This is she" I said in a teasing voice
"You're not gonna believe this, but Sammy Davis Jr is here"
