After I reluctantly turned my keys over to Alannah, I got into the passenger side of MY car. Look, I love Alannah to bits, but she has a tendency to scare me.
"So, what were you doing when you found out?" She said, putting the keys in the ignition and revving the engine
"I was watching Jacksepticeye and drinking Diet Coke and eating pretzels when my aunt called" I said
She lightly chuckled.
"What's so funny" I said
"Oh the fact that you would stop watching Jack for Sammy Davis Jr." She said
"Why? This is a huge once in a lifetime opportunity" I said
"But still" she said with a laugh
The ride was filled was arguments and jokes until she stopped in front of Dianna's house.
"So, are you ready?" She said
"Just one second" I said, touching up my lipstick and applying some more perfume. "I'm ready now"
"Ok, let's go" she said, getting out as I did the same.
