"Never heard that name before." he tells me indifferently, doing the same nasty thing I did just seconds ago -- carelessly throwing his cigarette on the fresh grass. "So, is your invitation still available?"

I frown a little not knowing what he's talking about because my mind decided to teleport itself on another galaxy. He helps me out, pointing a finger at my house, clearely noticing I was anywhere but there. Spiritually talking. "Oh, yeah yeah sure, come."

I open the front door "Look, I'll go up in my room to change. Meanwhile, you could go to the kitchen, have some water or juice if you want. You'll see them on the table. Or you could simply wait for me in the living room, but please, do not touch anything else. I'll be quick."

"Whatever, I don't need no shit." he replies bluntly "Just be real quick."

"Okay, I was trying to be polite but it seems like it just won't work with you." I say rolling my eyes before breaking the eye contact I had with him as I started walking up the stairs.

So, I need something elegant, but I have no idea what. I just pull a sparkly purple sophisticated under knee dress out of my closet. I check myself in the mirror but I wasn't pleased with my look so I decide to change into something else. I plainly throw this one on the bed and take out another delicate and thight red dress. I liked the way it fitted so I went with it, without having a second look.

"What does it take you so long?" I hear Jason calling me out from downstairs. "We'll be late, you know? But it's not like I would care much, you said you wanted to get there in time."

I sigh and grab another pair of stilettos, simple and black this time, which I put on, then take with me some white short converse and hide them in my purse just in case I will not be able to walk later.

"I've only been gone for like 6 minutes." I tell him as I walk down the stairs.

"I know, I just got bored with waiting." he informs me shrugging his shoulders with indifference. "Now let's go."

I lock the door and get inside the car. "So, you know the adress, right?"

"Yeah I guess." he tells me.

"You guess?" I ask him raising my eyebrows in wonder.

"Don't you worry babygirl, I got it." he tells me, this time feeling the warmth of his words. And I start blushing after hearing the nickname he just called me. I look at him but he already had his eyes on me, with a charming smile on his face, I look down as I probably blush even more.

"We've been on the road for 40 minutes now Jason, are you sure we're on the right way?" I ask him checking the map on my phone.

"Gosh, stop annoying me already for fuck's sake." he raises his voice at me. I frown a little but it's understandable, I already asked the same question possibly the fifth time. I can become really annoying sometimes and I'm aware of that.

"No need to be rude, I just want to make sure we're on th.." just before finishing my sentence, my phone shuts down as it ran out of battery "Crap!"

      "What happened?" he asks.

"My phone just died. Do you have a charger on you by mistake?" I ask him and he nods his head as a 'no', looking straightforward at the road. "Oh.. just wonderful!" I exclaim.
