Chapter 5
Emily and Alexander were having a picnic behind the abandoned mansion. They were enjoying every minute of it that they're together. Accidentally, they held hands because, both of them wanted to get the bottle of wine. At first, they were shy about what just happened but, Alexander finally asked " I consider this as a date. Don't you think so? ". Alexander was right and they knew that they felt the same way about each other. They were already about to kiss when, someone going near them was shouting " Alexander! She needs to go home! ".
It was Alexander's friend, Adam. He said Emily needs to immediately go home because, her parents were searching for her the whole day and if anyone was seen with her that time he/she would be a suspect for kidnapping Emily. Even though, it's hard for Emily and Alexander to part so soon, Emily went home.
Emily reached the Harrison's Mansion and she quietly went in so, no one would notice her arrival but, her mother was waiting for her by the door. Mrs. Harrison said " Where have you been, Emily? You don't obey our curfew for a few weeks already. Are you perhaps, meeting with someone? ". Emily was frightened that her mother might knew about Alexander. Emily was about to confess that she is meeting someone when, her brother went in. William said " Don't go ahead like that again, Emily. Mom, we're back. ". And so, their mother thought that the siblings were together the entire time. Emily thanked her brother and knew that she needed to be more careful.
