Chapter 8
After a few months, at the Harrison mansion, Mrs. Harrison said that they will be going back to their old town. And so the mansion was filled with shouting and magnified emotions. Emily already told about Alexander to her mother and Mrs. Harrison criticized the Stephens. Emily couldn't take it anymore and ran to the town's abandoned mansion.
At the abandoned mansion, Alexander welcomed her with an amorous hug and a passionate kiss. That kiss made Emily's thoughts to be occupied for like an eternity. Then reality came back to her and she said that they are going back to the town where her family once lived. Alexander, let these information sink into him and decided what Emily should do even if it's hard for him. He was silent and said that she should just follow her mother's orders. Emily was angered by what Alexander just said and she ran. She couldn't believe it that Alexander would not even try to make her stay.
The next day, at the farm Alexander's friend, Thomas , brought a shocking news. Alexander already had a hint of what the news was all about. Thomas was saying that Alexander should convince Emily to stay but, Alexander refused to do so. And so, the Harrison family finally left Bowman. Afternoon came and Alexander went to the Harrison mansion. No one was there and rain started to fall. He turned around and he saw Emily standing right in front of him. Emily was crying and he ran to Alexander. Alexander hugged and kissed Emily over and over again to convince himself that Emily is there, with him, physically and wholly. He also said that he's deeply sorry for letting go of her so fast. Emily also said sorry to Alexander for leaving him without a notice.
