Chapter 6- The Voice Curse

Her face was different from the future. All of the wrinkles in her face were gone; she had a smooth white pale face, with a little bit of red make-up on her checks. Her hair was not white; instead it was golden with curls on it. Her hair was still short like I always have seen her. Her eyes were blue just like they always had been.
"Hi, who are you?" She asked me, "Do I know you?"
"Um... Yea, I mean in the future you know me, but I'm your sister, Princess Victoria." I said to her.
"You mean...you actually came to save the world? I will go call mom now." She told me. I could see she was surprised.
I stayed inside the room, and looked around. I saw her diary, the one that I read. Her room was organized the same way that it was when she was old. Everything was in the same position; her lipstick was organized from tall to short just like in the future. Then I heard the door open, and I was my real mom, for the first time. I was so glad; I ran to her and hugged her. Tears of happiness rolled down her cheeks, and she held on me tight while we hugged.
"Hi Victoria, I knew you would come back one day." She said to me while wiping of her tears.
"Yes, as soon as Margaret gave me the letter when she came to my house, I started to search for you guys." I said.
"I'm glad you believed who did you live with and what was your name?"
"I used to live with Margaret's daughter, who I thought used to me my mother, but now I know I am her aunt. They named me Tamara."
"So, I'm going to have kids? Amazing. How did I look? How is the future?"Margaret asked me.
"I won't spoil it for you." I replied. I did not want to tell her that she died that night. "Anyways, I only have 30 minutes left to save the world but I don't know how to."
"Don't worry, I know how. According to the person that sent you to the future the way you have to save the world is by saying a speech that comes from your heart, the media will come to listen to you, and the world will know." My mother told me.
I did not think it was that easy, but I was glad it was. "Okay. Let's call them now before time runs out." I responded.

Mother went to tell dad about me and how we needed reporters to come now. He told his advisers and they went to call the reporters. In 15 minutes, they all came. I was nervous because I did not know what to say but I remembered how mother told me just to say what my heart thought. I got all prepared and started to speak. My mind did not know what I was saying but my heart had confidence. Slowly and slowly I could see the reporters got nicer to each other as I was talking. After my speech, I could see that the world was changing; everyone was becoming nicer.

While I was talking with some famous people, I suddenly felt pain. Blood was dripping down from my stomach; I realized that someone had shot me. Everyone was panicking and my family ran to me. The guards captured the guy that had shot me. I knew I was soon going to die but I had just one way. I remembered the time machine. I told my sister to get my bag that I left in her room; she quickly ran to get it and came to me. I slowly tried to take the time machine. Every time I moved a muscle I could feel pain and more pain, blood was dripping and I would soon die. I had to go back to the future.
