There's something nagging at me
Every time we hang out.
I try to ignore it
Just gotta have a good time
But still it's there
Just that little bit of doubt.
On the surface
Everything seems alright.
We share stories
Talk and laugh
Wondering if we stop in silence
Maybe we'll fight.
There's a pattern developing
It's not hard to see.
Talking about her
Sighing over them
But there's something missing
Something key.
I cant help but wonder sometimes
While you're with her, hanging out
If you talk down on me
Caring about nothing at all
Except having a good time
With no second thoughts, no doubt.
And for the doubt you don't feel
I'm feeling it, double.
But it seems like you don't care
You say that you're not close
That you don't care
Yet you're willing to pull her out of the rubble.
So every time I see you together
I have to stop and wonder.
Is it me that your annoyed with
and forever complaining about?
I don't want to think these thoughts
See that doubt, it tears my heart asunder.

PoesiePretty much a window to my soul over the past few years. Some poems that were written earlier are of not as good quality, so forgive that. This is a collection that breaks the window to my life.
