*one week later*

*McKinley*

The guys were pretty much finished tracking what they were tracking, and Andy was positive that he wanted to add 'Lost It All' on the new album. There was a knock on my door. I pulled down my pj pants. I went and opened the door. I peeked my head out. It was Andy.
    "You getting ready yet?"
He asked, raising his eyebrows.
"I'm about to get ready. Don't rush me Biersack."
I said.
  He chuckled.
"Okay, when you are ready come downstairs."
He said.
I went to my closet and pulled out a pair of ripped jeans and a shirt reading 'she's whiskey in a tea cup' and walked into my bathroom. I changed and added a bit of makeup to my face and walked downstairs and walked into the kitchen. Jinxx had made breakfast and was dishing out plates to everyone. He handed me one. I smiled.
"Thanks Jinxx. You guys could have woken me up to fix something for breakfast."
I said.
  He shook his head.
"Absolutely not. You do nothing but cook and do stuff for all the time. Its time that we do something for you once and a while."
Jinxx said.
    "Well, if you say so."
I said.
He chuckled. I ate and took my medicine. I then pulled on my boots and grabbed my guitar and messenger bag.
    "You guys ready?"
I asked.
They chuckled and grabbed their things. I grabbed my keys from the hook by the door. We walked outside, Andy got the middle with Ashley riding shotgun and the rest piled in the back and put equipment in the back.
"You guys mind if I smoke?"
I asked.
    "Your good."
Andy answered.
I cracked the window and pulled out my cigarettes and lighter. I pulled one out and lite it, taking a long pull from it. I blew the smoke out of my mouth and it drifted out of the window. We rode to the studio we the sound of the radio playing in the background. Nobody really was talking much. I enjoyed the peaceful drive, it gave me time to think about my life and how it had changed since I had met the boys. I was finally happy again and I had slowly stopped taking the medicine I was put on when Brandon died. Things are actually starting to get better and I finally smile a lot more than I used to and it's not forced. I pulled into the studio and parked and turned off my truck. I got out and the rest of the guys got out and I locked the doors. I grabbed my messenger bag and threw it on my shoulder and the guys grabbed their stuff from the back. We walked inside and Bob looked up. He smiled when he saw me.
"Ahh McKinley back today I see."
He said.
"Yes sir. We are going to record the duet today and then I think the guys said that they would be finished with this album."
I said.
"Yes, when 'Lost It All' is added to the album the album will have fourteen songs on it and that is about all the songs needed to be on the album."
He said.
The guys soon walked in with their things and began setting up. Andy and me went in to record our vocals. Andy being first.
"I ruled the world with these hands, I shoon the heavens to the ground. I held the key to the kingdom, lions guarding castle walls."
He sang.
  Then we both sang.
"Then I lost it all, dead and broken. Backs against the wall, cut me open. I'm just trying to breathe, just trying to figure it out. Because I built these walls to watch them crumbling down. I said, "Then I lost it all." And who can save me now?"
We sang.
"I stood above another war, another jewel upon the crown. I was the fear of man. But I was blind, I couldn't see the world there right in front of me but now I can."
I sang.
"'Cause I lost it all, dead and broken. Backs against the wall, cut me open. I'm just trying to breathe, just trying figure it out because I built these walls to watch them crumbling down. I said, "Then I lost it all." Who can save me now?"
We both sang.
    "(Oh)
I believe that we all fall down sometimes.
(Oh)
Can't you see? (Can't you see?)
(Yeah, we all, yeah,  we all fall down)
Yeah.
I believe we that we all fall down sometimes.
Yeah."
Andy sang.
The music faded out and I pulled the headphones off and sat them on the little stand in front of the microphone. Me and Andy walked out of the booth and sat in the beanbag chairs that were placed beside the couches. Bob was mixing the song. Andy high-fived me.
"Good job in there. You sounded amazing."
He said, smiling.
"Thanks, it feels amazing being back behind the microphone."
I said.
  He chuckled.
"Yeah, I'm sure it did. Getting to finally sing again."
He said.
"Yeah, now I just have to pick up a tour."
I said, sighing.
"I'm sure you can find a tour somewhere. It shouldn't be to hard."
He said.
"Most singers have already got their opening acts, Andy."
I said, as we cleaned the studio.
Once we were finished, we walked to truck and climbed inside. I drove to my house with AC/DC playing in the background. I stayed on the front porch, smoking a cigeratte while the others went inside. Andy stopped and sighed when he saw the distressed look on my face. He sat on the step beside me and lite his own cigeratte.
"Listen McKinley, I know you are ready to get back on the road. Hell, here in a few weeks if you don't get picked up on a tour and still want to go you can come with me and the boys with me and the boys on Warped tour. You can sing 'Lost It All' with me."
He said.
  I smiled.
    "You would do that?"
I asked.
He bumped my shoulder with his.
"Of course. You're our friend now."
He said.
  I chuckled.
"But I don't even make the same music as you guys."
I said.
  He shrugged.
"So. You can come and do your duet song with us and then a few of your songs and a cover song of a rock song if you would like. I mean me and the boys have listened to your music and we all like it. Its not like it is some pop crap that comes on the radio now days."
He said.
"Yeah, country music just isn't what is used to be anymore. I mean, I admit my music isn't the old country but it isn't pop either. Its more rock than it is anything."
I said.
  He chuckled.
    "Yeah."
He said.
I yawned and covered my mouth with my hands.
"Go head to bed and get some rest."
He said.
I nodded and went upstairs. I showered and threw my hair into a messy ponytail and then changed into a oversized T-shirt and leggings before climbing into my bed and falling asleep quickly.
