Matt's POV
"How's Cam? What's wrong?" I ask Nash frantically. "He's ok. But he has a ton of cuts on his wrists." My heart broke into a million more pieces.
"Watch over Hunter. I'm gonna go see Cam." I say. He nods and sits by her. I go to Cams room. "Cam?" I saying goofily popping my head through the door.
He laughs. "What Matt?" "Why?" Cam looks down.
Cam's POV
"Why?" Matt asks. I look down. "Her." "Who?" "Hunter! I am so stupid! I let you bully her! I shouldn't have but I did! Matt! She could die and its my fault. I cut myself. I used to suffer from depression remember? Well, now it's back. It's never gonna go away."
Nash barges in "HUNTERS AWAKE!" I jerk. "Get my wheel chair. They don't want me walking. I lost a lot of blood." Matt gets it and walks me to Hunters room.
"Hunter!" I yell. Matt wheels me to her. "Why Cam?" She asks crying. "Why what?" I ask. "You cut." She is crying more. "I'm sorry. It's because of this. You being here. It's my fault." She hugs me. "It may be your fault, all of your guys' fault but I'm here."
"Hunter!" I look up to see Carter, Nash, and Aaron. "Um.. Hi." She says "Were sorry!" They yell. I chuckle. She holds her arms out and they are crying. "No more bullying guys?"
She says. We nod. "Good. I need my best friend back" she says turning to Matt. I smile. They would make the cutest couple.
Hunter's POV
"Good. I need my best friend back." I turn to Matt. He smiles and I hug him. We don't let go for a while. I just burst into tears. "I wish I was there the day we got in a fight. If I was there to defend you, you wouldn't have thought I was laughing at you."
He hugged me tighter. "I wish I would've believed you." I smile. I have him back. Now, all I need is my dad to come home. "Um... Hunter Dennis?" I turn and see a nurse. "Yes?" "We have some unfortunate news. It's your father..." I zoned out. "He was hit dead on at an intersection. He died almost immediately." I screamed and cried. I felt empty and broken.
"Hey its OK. We're here for you." Carter says sitting next to me. "No! It's not ok! I have no parents! I can't stay here cuz I have nowhere to go! You wouldn't understand this! I just wanna die! Why does life have to be so shitty!? Why can't I just die!?" I scream crying. Cam hugs me and goes back to his room.
Everyone leaves but Matt. I am still crying. We slides me over and sits next to me. "I'm sorry" he says quietly. "It's fine. But I have no one. I never did, but I don't have anywhere to go. I am gonna have to go somewhere. I'm only 17 I can't do this alone."
Matt shook his head. "Until the end of the year, you stay with one of us. Then we graduate and... Something has gotta happen. But we are done bullying." He says. I smile.
I yawn and feel really sleepy. I started falling asleep. "Good night Hunter. I'll be back tomorrow." He says getting up. "No please.... Stay...." I say half asleep.
"I gotta text my mom." I ended up falling asleep. Right before I was fully asleep I felt Matt climb in bed and wrap his hands around me.
*NEXT MORNING*
I wake up to the sound of Matt's snoring. I laughed a little. I tried moving but be wouldn't let me. I saw Nash and Cam asleep on the chairs.
"Hunter?" I see Nash awake. "Ya Nashty?" He glares at me. "I will murder you if you call me that." He says. "I know. Hey... Do you have any siblings?" I ask. Idk why but I did. "Ya. 2 brothers and a half sister." He says smiling.
"I can't wait til school ends." I say. He agrees. Soon Cam wakes up. "Hola" he says sleepily. I laugh. I try shaking Matt for him to wake up. It didn't work.
"Halp!" I yell. Matt shoots up. "Ugh. Fuck off" he says angrily. "Nash help me up? I need to go to the bathroom." He nods. He puts his arm over my shoulders.
"Is Matt a grumpy morning person? Or is he just an ass naturally." I ask. Nash laughs. "He's new at this" I nod. "I lied BTW" Nash laughs. We sit in chairs in the hallway and talk.
"We should probably get back now. We've been out here for 45 minutes. Lmao" Nash says. I nod. I can walk on my own now. "Ooh you are finally back. So did you make out?" Carter asks. "Cartah! Staph!" I say.
Matt walks out. "Matt!" I say. I catch up with him. "What!?" He asks angrily. "What's wrong?" I ask. "Nothing! Just leave me alone bitch" he says. Then he slaps me.
Tears stung my eyes. I ran off. I ran back to my room. I jumped in my bed and got under the covers. I shoved my face into the pillow. "Hunter?" Nash asks. "Get out!" I scream. Cam stays. But Aaron, Nash and Carter leave.
I lift my face. "Cam out! I hate you guys." I say. He shakes his head. "And don't EVER talk to me again you assholes!" I yell. Later a nurse gets me all fixed up and I get released.
I go to my house. I see a car there and stop. I know this car. "Aunti Joan!?" I yell running in. "Hunter!?" She yells. I run and hug her. "Why are you here!?" I ask. "To get you. We are moving to California!" I smile.
I get to start over. "Ok! What do I bring?" She smiles. "Nothing I will buy you all new stuff!" I nod. I grab my important stuff and a few outfits. I put everything in a bag.
I run back down. "Ready" I say. "Ok come on" we get in her car. I get a ton of texts from the guys. I ignore them and we leave. Bye Virginia, Hello California! I'm gonna make this new life amazing!
