Dipper's POV:

Fresh out of collage, Wirt and I set off to Gravity Falls, Oregon where Soos and Melanie have given us The Mystery Shack so they can start a family. We decided that we were going to live and possibly start a family there too.

Wirt had majored in English and I had majored in parapsychology, the study of the paranormal. Together we were going to write a magazine about the paranormal, called 'West Of Weird'.

"It's going to be so nostalgic staying there again." I said, hung up in the memories.

"Yeah. I remember when we met."

"Wow." My mind flashed back to when we first met. He was the only person I had ever dated and the first person I had kissed. I don't mean that in a bad way either. I was the only person he had ever dated or kissed too. We had both been friend zoned by a girl once.

"Wait! Take that exit!" Wirt yelled snapping me out of my past, but it was already too late.

"Damn! Okay, we'll do a u-turn and make a pit stop. We need to get gas and probably some snacks..."

"We can get Corn nuts!" Wirt teased.

"Who the hell thought Corn nuts was a good idea for a snack?" I laughed.

"I wish I knew, cause I want their autograph. Wait, turn here!"

"I love you Wirt, but we need a GPS."

"Yeah, but we can't afford one right now and phones use data when we are in the middle of nowhere. So, paper maps will have to do until we pay off our student loans."

"I know. Ugh, look at the gas prices!"

"Being an adult sure is fun, huh?"

"I swear this feels like National Lampoon's Vacation!" I exclaimed. As if on cue a loud thunk sounded from the top of our car.

"What was that?!"

"I don't know!"

"Pull over!"

I pulled over into the side of the road. I got out of the car and looked around. "Oh no." I said realizing the problem.

"What is it?" Wirt said coming out and going around the car to where I was standing.

"The tire blew."

"Seriously?"

"I would not joke about this."

"You jinxed us!" He accused me.

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

"Did not!"

"Whatever, we have to call a mechanic." He pulled out his phone. "Siri, I need a mechanic."

"Okay, here is what I found." She spoke back.

Soon we had someone towing our car to a mechanic shop. "So how long is this going to take?" Wirt asked.

"Twenty minutes at the most." A short gruff man said.

"And how much would it cost?"

"About fifty dollars."

"Alright." He sighed as he rifled through his wallet.

"We might as well eat dinner while we wait." I pointed out.

"There's a diner being us." The mechanic said.

"Alright, thanks." I said, taking Wirt's hand dragging him out.
