Anabel's POV
As I make my way to the car I see that there is already someone sitting in the back seat. Oh no. Did something bad happen? I pick up my pace but I hear a familiar voice call my name.

"Anabel slow down."

"Hey Adrien, what's up?"

"Um well I was wondering...you see...I was gonna ask..."

"Sometime today Adrien." I say with a giggle.

"Willyougooutwithmetonight?"

"Good try but next time can you ask a little bit slower?" I stifle a giggle as a deep blush covers his face.

"I was wondering if you would like to go out with me tonight. I thought since you're new here you might like a tour. It could be like a date. Unless you don't want it to be a date then that's fine I mean..."

"Adrien" I cut him off "I would love to. Here's my number, I'll be ready by 6."By now his face is so red I'm pretty sure you could classify him as a tomato. I get in the car and notice that the person is no other than my father. "Hey dad"

"Anabel I see you have made friends with Mr. Agreste's son. Anyway tonight there will be a party held by the mayor inviting all large companies in the Paris region. As expected you will be going with me."

"But dad I already made pla-"

"No Anabel! I don't want to hear it you will attend and that is final. When we get home you are to get ready. We will leave by 6 and no later. Do you understand?"

"Ya I understand but I don't even have a dr-"

"No problem I already had one bought for you. It should already be on your bed."

The rest of the ride home was completely silent. Most kids when they see their parents it's "Did you have a good day at school honey?"or "How was your day?" but not with my father. I guess I didn't really expect him to ask. I mean he never has showed any interest in my life besides when it involves him or his company. As soon as the car stops I'm out of the car. I go to my room and get in the shower so that my dad can't hear my crying. If he did he would just give his normal disappointed look and say "This is what makes you weak." After I get done with my shower I look at my phone and see a text from Adrien. Oh no! I totally forgot.

-Hey, can't wait for tonight;)-Adrien

-Hey sorry I can't do tonight a family thing came up and my dad won't let me go :'(-Anabel

-Dang it's fine. I hope everything is okay though.-Adrien

-Trust me my dad is the same way. I feel like all he ever cares about is his business and I just feel like he doesn't care about me at all."-Adrien

I put my phone down and look at the clock. Oh shoot it's 5:20! I run around my room and by the time I'm ready it's 5:57.I grab my purse and quickly put Luna in it. Then I run downstairs to see my dad waiting by the door. The whole car ride was awkwardly quiet. The driver started slowing down in from of a giant mansion which I'm guessing is the mayor's.
