Adrien's POV
I feel bad for leaving Anabel like that and I can't help feeling like she's hiding something and I don't mean like "Hey, I cheated on my chemistry test." secret, I mean "Hey, I'm not who you think I really am" secret. I take out my phone to call my driver but I'm interrupted by a high pitched scream. I know that scream and I don't want to visit the owner but duty calls.

"Plagg, claws out!"

I rush to the scream to see Chloé and her father trapped by a guy that looks like a policeman

"Sorry Rogercop but looks like your akuma is coming with me."

He started to fire little blue and red hancuffs at me but I dodged them all with my cat-like reflexes.

"Chat Noir, help me!"

I look in the direction of the plea and see not only Chloé and her father but ladybug as well. Well...that's just fantastic. As I'm distracted he fires at me and manages to lock my left hand. I look around and notice Alya is also here and she's on the phone with someone.

"Well, well, well Hawkmoth will be very pleased with this. Hand over your miraculous now or have them removed...with force."

"Never!" Ladybug yells bravely even though the fear is clear in her eyes.

"Fine looks like we do it the hard way."

"How about we do it my way."

Anabel's POV
"How about we do it my way." I announce while delivering a round house kick to his hand with the akumatized(don't know if this is a word) whistle.

I run to grab the whistle but he fires a band and it gets my right foot. I reach out and grab the whistle and throw it to Ladybug.

She purifies the butterfly with her free hand and fixes the city. Chat Noir and Ladybug start walking twords me but I don't feel like talking so I just wave goodbye.

As I'm walking home I decide to call Alya to make a cover story for why I want there as Anabel.

"Hey Alya, are you okay?"

"Ya girl, Loup Blanc showed up out of no where and kicked the bad guy's butt. She left without saying anything though. Do you think something is wrong?"

"Nah she was probably just busy, but hey I'm sorry I couldn't make it to help. When I got to Chloé's house there was a crowd of people outside so I couldn't get through."

"Don't sweat it, it all worked out in the end. Gotta go, see you later."

After I hung up I unlock the front door and walked into my empty and cold house. Well I guess I should start making dinner.

I got this ingredients out for spaghetti. But the doorbell made me stop in my tracks. I really don't feel like talking to anyone right now but it could be an emergency.

I open the door only to see the person really don't want to see right now.

"Hey Adrien, what's up?" I ask with a forced smile.

"Hey Anabel, I just wanted to stop by and apologize for this morning I had... somewhere I needed to be and you know how my dad is."

"Yeah sure, is that all?"

"Hey is everything alright? You seem kind mad."

"Me angry? No, I just have somewhere I need to be." I begin to close the door but Adrien sticks his foot out and stops me.

"Hey I'm sorry, you know that right?"

"Yeah that's what I keep hearing but I'm not really feeling it. Listen Adrien nows not a good time and if you would excuse me I'd like to finish making my dinner."

"If you'd like I could stay and help."

"No I think you have stayed quiet long enough and I don't want your dad to worry. I know how he is." I manage to get the door shut and I turn around to go finish making dinner.

"You really didn't have to be so harsh on him. He was just trying to apoligize." Luna said quietly.

Guilt starts to creep in as I'm watching the noodles boil. I was really mean to him. I didn't mean to I just...snapped. I have school tomorrow so I'll just apologize to him there.

"I know it's just...everyone I get close to leaves me and I don't want that pain."

"Not everyone leaves you. I'm still here aren't I and you know your mom is always with you. Just because you can't see her that doesn't mean she's not there."

I smile down at my sweet, little kwami. "You know what, if being a super hero doesn't work out you would be a great psychiatrist. Now let's eat." After dinner I do my normal night routine and then fall into a dreamless sleep.

When I was almost done with this chapter my phone glitched up and I had to restart. Grrr technology sometimes.
