Mark POV
"Ya cheating bastard!" Jack shouted, punching me on the arm.
I chuckle. "I didn't cheat! You just suck at this." I stick my tongue out at him.
He just laughs and pushes me.
We had been playing games basically all day. I smile as he laughs. He seems to have cheered up ever since we talked about his girlfriend
My mind darkens and my smile drops as the thought crosses my mind. Emily (I'm just making up her name!)... The stupid slut thinks she can just cheat on MY Sean and get away with it?! No.. She's going to pay.. I'll make sure of it.
"-rk? Mark?" I finally snap out of my thoughts as I hear a voice call my name.
I turn to Jack and see a concerned look etched onto his beautiful face. "Mark? Are you alright?"
I just laugh and throw on a fake smile. "Of coarse, why wouldn't I be?"
He purses his lips. "Well, you just looked-"
He's cut off as the door opens and someone walks into the room.
Emily. I almost sneer at her. How disgusting.
"Emily!" Jack shouts happily, jumping up and hugging her.
I watch as she freezes and instantly tries to wiggle out of his grasp. "H-Hey Hun."
He pulls away and smiles happily at her. How can someone like Jack be so oblivious? "How was your day?"
"Good.." She shuffles away from him, edging towards the door. "Listen, Hun. It's been a long day. I'm just going to go to bed, ok?"
A sad look crosse Jack's face. "Oh um.. Goodnight then.."
I let out an Inaudible growl as she walks up stairs, leaving a sad Jack behind.
If Jack was MINE I'd treat him like a princess. I'd smother him in love and NEVER cheat on him. Emily doesn't deserve him.. She doesn't even deserve to live.
I snap out of my thoughts as I hear Jack sigh. "C-Can I ask a favor?"
I walk over and hug him from behind, happy to have him in my arms. "Of coarse, Sean, anything."
I could tell he was trying so hard not to cry. "Y-You.. You said I-I should follow her the n-next time she goes out. C-Can you come with me?"
I instantly nod. "Of coarse I'll come."
He turns around and hugs me. "Thanks Mark. You're my best friend."
I just chuckle and ruffle his hair. "Right back at you. It's getting late. We should head to bed so we can get up when she does."
He nods and follows me upstairs.
"Goodnight, Mark."
"Night, Sean."
And we head to our separate bedrooms. I couldn't help but notice Jack's reluctant look.
*Morning*
We hadn't even bothered to change our clothes last night, because we knew we wouldn't have time this morning.
Once I heard footsteps head downstairs and out the door, I instantly got up and met Jack out in the hall. "You ready?" I said.
He took a deep breathe and nodded. I grabbed his hand to give him a little more courage, then we headed downstairs and into his car, starting to follow her.
Both endings to this situation were going to be bitter-sweet. If we found out that she wasn't cheating, then Jack would be happy, but then I would be pissed. If she was cheating, then Jack would be sad, but then I would have a chance at him. I didn't even try denying it anymore. I was in love with Sean. I didn't know what this would do to my plans, but I shouldn't be thinking about that right now. I should be focusing more on the task at hand.
She finally stops and we arrive at a clothing store. Must be where she works..
Once she heads in, we slowly follow in behind her. Luckily the door was unlocked, even though the sign said 'closed'.
I grabbed Sean's hand again and we slowly walked into the store. I could feel Sean's hand shake, so I gave it a light squeeze.
We followed her into the back room and hid behind a clothing rack as we noticed a guy there.
"Hey babe~" She coos, walking up to him and wrapping her arms arms around his neck.
"Hey." He says. He was around Jack's age. He had light brown hair and dark green eyes (Not a real person.. Sorry..).
I felt Sean grip my hand tighter and I swear you could hear his heart stop.
And then suddenly
They kissed.
I looked over at Sean and saw tears spilling out of his eyes. I tried not to growl. They were going. To. Pay.
The guy suddenly groans. "Why don't you just break up with that bitch you call a boyfriend already?"
Emily sighs. "I just have to wait until he proposes. Once he proposes, we can leave him and sell the ring he buys me. At least then we'll have gotten something out of this."
The guy laughs and they kiss again.
Suddenly, Sean grips my hand tightly and starts to pull away. I let him as he pulls me out of the shop.
We get into the car and I start to drive away. I look at him with concern. He hasn't said anything since then and he hasn't let go of my hand.. There were tears still dripping down his face and his expression looked completely broken. I grip the steering wheel harder with my one hand. I'm going to kill them. I'm going to kill them slowly and painfully an drake them PAY for hurting MY Sean.
I accidentally let out a growl, but Jack didn't seem to notice.
We finally make it to the house. Once inside, Jack instantly tackles me onto the couch and starts crying into my chest. I rub his back and whisper soothing things into his ear, trying to control my anger.
"I-I just-" his sentence is interrupted by a sob. "-I just d-don't understand.. I-I gave her everything! I-I treated her l-like a fucking p-princess, a-and she *hic* does this?! W-Was it me? W-Was I n-not good enough?!" He starts sobbing even harder.
I sigh, pressing my lips to his head. "She didn't deserve you, Sean. You're amazing, and if she can't see that, then she can just go fuck herself. You're smart, talented, funny, cute, kind.. You're amazing, so don't you dare let her bring you down just because she's a slut."
He looks up at me with red puffy eyes. "R-Really?"
I smile down at him. "Really. And don't you forget it."
He blushes and buries his face back into my chest, calming down a little bit.
I rub his back, glad he felt a little better.
I knew he wouldn't be able to face her alone when she came back tonight, so I'm going to be there with him. I'm always going to be there for him.
God, what was he doing to me...
