The Slammer

Thomas' POV

"Your sister's in trouble". Gally said, smirking at me and pushing me aside.

"Ignore him". Newt rolled his eyes. I nodded and sat beside him, preparing for dinner. "She's in the Slammer by the way. You should maybe visit...?"

Minho chuckles from across the table. "Don't bother". His face turned blank and he turned away. I raised an eyebrow.

"What happened?" I asked.

"She was being stupid, that's all you need to know". I sighed and took a bite of the mystery meat that Frypan gave to us.

"You know what this is?" Newt asked, chewing rapidly. I shook my head and he grinned. "Neither do I". We both chuckled and then stopped as we saw Gally sit beside Minho. Minho's face twitched.

"Hello friends". Gally said, grinning, "how's Annie?" Minho winced and looked away, shoving a forkful of mystery meat into his mouth.

"Ohhhhh, drama". Gally sighed dramatically and chuckled under his breath.

"What happened to Annora?" A small voice asked. We all turned to see Chuck in tears, clutching his plate and shaking.

Newt stood up and put an arm around him. "She's okay, Chuck". Chuck nodded and wiped away his tears with one hand.

"Aww, you worried?" Gally asked, pouting.

"Yea. Is that such a problem?" Chuck asked.

Gally rolled his eyes. It seemed like nothing could bring him down now. He was too shucking happy. Oh god did I just say shucking?

"Just go away, Gally". I said angrily. His eyes lit up with surprise and he smiled.

"Oh sure". He continued his creepy smile as he got up and left for another table.

"It's okay, Chuck".

"She's okay". Poor Chuck. He's been through so much so young.

Annie's POV

Have I been in the Slammer before? I don't remember... I think I have maybe... Twice? I know both of them involved Gally but that's about it. I don't remember the exact situation. And now here I am again, sitting in this stupid little hole in the ground that they call a jail. If I was motivated, I could probably find a way out. But I'm too lazy and kind of just want to relax.

"Hey, weirdo". A voice said.

"Oh, Tommy". He sat down behind the bars and crossed his legs.

"What'd you do?"

"Scratched Gally".

"Annie, what did you really do?" He asked. I knitted my eyebrows together in confusion.

"I... Scratched... Gally?"

"Why?"

"Hey was talking about Newt and... You know..."

"No I don't".

"His... Attempt..." Shit. "To leave..." Thomas sighed and shook his head.

"Never mind".
