Chapter 1;

Chapter 1: no more control

Luke’s P.O.V:

‘Tessa come back here!’ I shouted across the beach. She ran away.. again. This is the 4th time already this month that we got into this huge fight and she run off. I think I’m just gonna let her cool down a bit. I’ll call her best friend Skyler, ask if she want to text me if Tessa is over there. Usually she goes to see Skyler and complain about me.  

Hey,

Tessa ran away again, she’s probably on her way to see you.

will you please text me if she’s there?

I happen to know Skyler quite well since I dated her older sister Cassie. Me and Cassie dated for over a year until she moved to Africa to be an English teacher in Ghana. 

anyway.

I don’t know what’s wrong with Tessa. I mean I understand she’s going through such a rough time, since our parents died in that car crash 2 months ago, but she’s not the only one. They were my parents too. I’m actually happy they left the house to me though, otherwise me and Tessa would be left on the street without a roof above our heads. It’s only their summer bungalow by the beach but it’s good enough for me and Tessa for now. I just got hired on a 2nd job. I have to work full time now instead of part time to be able to pay the bills and take care of her of course. It will be hard but I will make sure me and her will get a good future again. Hopefully she’ll see how much effort I put in this. She’s my sister, i love her and it’s my job to take care of her. I’m now the man in the house and I have to act like it too.

*1 hour later* 

I’m still worried about Tessa. I haven’t heard from Skyler yet. Should I go search for her. Should I call her? Of course I should search and call her. i’m such a dumbass. Any good parent (or in my care old brother who now has to be a brother,mother,father all at the same time) would look for their kid if they ran away. Now I get why she hates me, but I can’t help it. This is all new for me too. I grabbed my keys and got into my car to look for her when I got a text;

Hi Luke,

no worries, she’s here.

is it okay if she spents the night here?

Skyler.

Thank god she’s okay. I’m actually happy if she’s not here tonight. Gives me the room and time to think about some stuff.

Thank god, thanks for texting me.

Tessa’s P.O.V:

‘I hate him! He thinks I’m still a little kid, but I’m not. he thinks he’s the only one who’s having a hard time, but he’s not. Sometimes he doesn’t even seem to care!’ I said to Skyler. I had a huge fight again with Luke and ran away..  again. He just doesn’t understand me anymore. It’s so difficult to live with him right now. ‘it’s okay Tess, I understand, but try to see it from his side too though, I mean he also lost both his parents, your entire family lives far away. He had to do everything by himself. Even now, he works 2 jobs to pay for the bills and takes care of you. That’s quite some pressure on that tiny shoulders of him you know. I wouldn’t be able to cope with that much stress. Would you?’ skyler said to me. ‘alright, you’re right. You’re always right.’ I said to her and rolled my eyes in a joking way. ‘I know I am’ she said joking too. Skyler is such a good listener and she gives the best advice. That’s why I always go to her when I need someone to talk to. She always knows how to fix it and what I should do. ‘you can stay the night here if you want though.. well actually it’s not even a question, you are spending the night, if wheter you like it or not.’ She said with a smirk on her face. ‘alright then, I still have my pjs and toothbrush here from last time right?’ ‘yeah you do.’skyler answered me.

I needed this. Just a little girl time, having fun with my best friend, talking about random stuff. To get my mind off things .

|| hiiii guys! So this is the first chapter of my 2nd fanfic J this part was very very boring but it was more like an introduction. The next chapters are gonna be a lot more fun and I can promise you.. this story is full of drama. Ooooooeeehh haha.
