Chapter 1~ Spanish Words Are The Best Words, If No Words Are Said At All
Avery POV
Coming out of the water, had to be the downside of surfing but if I stayed in there too long, I would catch a cold. You would think, that I would be used to it yet, nope. My best friend soon emerged from the water. He was just as about soaked as I was but I started to shiver so I ran to the toasty bathroom and took a steaming shower, and changed into my school clothes while blow- drying my hair. Now, I know what your thinking. Why is there a bathroom with a shower at your beach? Why are at the beach instead of at your house, blow drying your hair or some shit? Are you homeless? To answer your questions, my dad is incredibly rich and I convinced him to have some people install a bathroom with showers, since I was born and raised in Cali. I'm not at my house because because Susan is there, my m- I cant even finish the sentence, without laughing. Basically Susan is your average trashy, gold digging whore who's 10 years younger than my actual father. My father is a very caring man he just doesn't know whats good for him, no matter how many times I tell him he says the same thing. "You'll warm up to her being here. I did." while putting a dad like hand on my a shoulder, so eventually I just gave up. Once I get ready for school dressing in some ripped jeans, a white shirt with a pocket, and some worn-out converse. As you can tell from my style, I don't give a fuck about fashion. Like seriously what's the point? I could show up to school in a way to high skirt that looks like it could be a hella short dress with some killer heels and walk around like a penguin who has just got back from being abducted by aliens, but I won't. Why? Cause like I said before I don't give a shit. "Avey, wanna like hurry the fuck up?" My best friend said Alex asked harshly. Alex and I have been best friends since, we we're in diapers. My mom and his mom were best friends so of course they have their babies in the same year. "Shut the fuck up!" I grumbled. I really need to get some manners, like Susan says but anything she says I will always do the opposite. Like if she told me to stay safe, I would drink a shit-load, if she asked me not to run while in the street, O would run twice as hard. It's always the same, and will never change until hell freezes over. I run out the bathroom while stuffing everything into my bag and taking out an granola bar. I hope into the car and see my best friend impatiently waiting for me. We he sees me his scowl turns deeper and his eyes turning into slits. When I got into the car I was bombarded with Spanish words I didn't understand. " Qué te tomó tanto puto tiempo usted sabe lo jodidamente mucho tiempo he estado esperando en este puto coche que idiota idiota . Vamos a llegar tarde y su todo va a ser tu maldita culpa. Niñas Dios y no maldita maquillaje!" (Translation: What took you so fucking long you know how fucking long time I have been waiting for this fucking car idiot. We'll be late and everything will be your own damn fault . God damn girls and there makeup!) He spoke in such a serious dad like voice, that I couldn't help but laugh. "Whaa-?" I asked. The last thing I heard before I plugged in my earbuds was him muttering something about 'girls, makeup, time, and stupidity' then I was drowned out by the sound of The Plain White Tees------------------------------------------------------------
