I woke up from the sound of beeping and Adrian talking to someone. When I finally opened my eyes and adjusted to the bright lights, I saw that Adrian's dad Antonio was here.
"Finally your awake, I've been bored sitting here" Adrian said. His hospital bed was right next to mine.
"Uh Adrian what happened?" I asked
"Don't you remember the shooting" he said
That's when it all came back to me.
"Are you okay babe?" I asked Adrian while getting up forgetting about my thigh but that's when the pain shot through me.
"Shit!" I yelled. I guess it was loud cause Jaycee ran into the room with Jason and ...my dad. What the hell is he doing here.
"Bella what's wrong?!" Jaycee asked coming up to me.
"I forgot that I got shot." I said sheepishly. He looked at me funny then picked me back up and sat me on the bed. I was a little uncomfortable because of my weight but I got really uncomfortable when he sat me on his lap. I looked at him crazy.
"When did we get this comfortable?" I asked him forgetting about the other people in the room.
"Oh my dolcezza (sweet), I knew you were gonna be MINE when I first saw you" he whispered in my ear
"I don't remember agreeing to be yours" I told him with a smirk
"But you will soon" he retorted
We kept a smirking at each other until my dad coughed to get our attention. I looked to see him standing their. He looked older since I haven't saw him in 2 years. This was longest he has been away. He walked up to me looking sad and guilty.
"Hey babygirl" he said. I didn't really want to talk to him but I couldn't just walk away.
"Hi daddy" I responded "can we talk about it at home" I said quickly after. I wanted to talk alone.
"Of course babygirl but me and Antonio need to talk to you kids" he said
"About what uncle Luca" Adrian said
"Well the Mafia needs you guys to go to Italy for a mission" uncle Antonio, Adrian's dad said.
"What's the mission about" I asked
"The people who tried to kill you guys at the high school were linked to are rivals the Salvatore Russo's" my dad explained. "We have located that they will try to attack the annual A.AF.ML Galla" he continued.
A.AF.ML Galla stands for Abelló,AmareFortis and Mancini-Lombardi Galla.
"So what are we gonna do?" Jaycee asked putting his head on my shoulder.
"You will train for two weeks then on the day of the Galla you will each get assigned one of the conspirers, get them before they attack and take them to the torture room and get info out of them then kill them" uncle Antonio finished
"Okay so when do we leave?" Jason asked. He was sitting on Adrian's bed with him, they were cuddling. Oh my hunny got a man.
"Tonight if possible" they said in unison
"Okay" we all said
Uncle Antonio and my dad left after but hugged both Adrian and I first.
"I didn't know you and Adrian we're cousins" Jaycee said
"Yup our mom's are sisters" Adrian answered
"Mhmm" I said. I got up off Jaycee lap and went over to Adrian's bed. I pushed off Jason and snuggled up next to my bestie.
"Sorry Jason but I haven't seen him in like forever " I exaggerated
" It's been two hours " Jason responded
"Lol whatever" I said back. Then we started to watch movies in the hospital room until we had to go pack.
