Olivia's POV-

I had a half day at work so I decided to get home early and surprise Katie when she got home.

I closed the door behind me and I heard a noise coming from Katie's room almost like someone slipping trying to get to their feet, I got nervous and pulled my gun, this is instinct ever since Luis' attack.

I slowly turned into the door way, I heard groans coming from the bathroom, I was apprehensive.
I turned the corner and fell to my knees quickly getting my gun back into its holster. It was Katie her eyes were half open, she was bleeding badly, "it okay" I said "you're okay, I'm here now" her eyes slowly shut as I was grabbing the nearest towels. I felt her pulse slow, "how long has she been here" I murmured "did she even go to school?" I thought. Simultaneously I thought of Amanda as the first person to call "Amanda roll a bus to my apartment" I said shakily "it's Katie" I dropped the phone as I heard Amanda yell into the squad room. As Katie's head rested in my lap I stroked her hair "help is on the way" I said "it's going to be alright"

Within minutes I heard sirens,
I tried to wrap her wrists as best as I could, I couldn't see through my tears. I heard the door open, I had forgotten I gave Amanda a key. I called out "Amanda in here" I quickly dried my tears and the blonde came in and picked Katie up in her arms, she looked so fragile.

I got up off my knees and followed the paramedics.

Amanda rode with us, and I'm glad she did. As I was so shaken up.
We got to the hospital and they quickly took Katie into an exam room, they told me to stay outside, all of asudden I heared groans "mommm, mommm" getting louder, I rushed to the glass window to see her crying as they stopped the bleeding and began to stitch her up. I felt Amanda hug me from behind "she's going to be okay" she said.

*about an hour later*

Doctor: you can see her now

I got up, Amanda close behind. She was asleep so peaceful and perfect "how could this happen" I murmured. Amanda put her arm around me as I rested my head next to Katie.

Katie's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and sat bolt upright, I winced not realizing my wrists were bound to the side of the bed. I looked next to me to see both my mom and Amanda I quickly shrank back down into the covers wishing I could disappear.

Liv climbed into bed and layed next to me stroking my hair, I had noticed I was wearing my glasses which soon began to fog up as I started to cry. The hysteria took over as I took in the situation. Noticing this Amanda excused herself to the bathroom and Liv started to help calm me down I couldn't stop I didn't understand how I let it get this far. Lost in my thoughts I realized the monitor was going off, I was so wrapped up in what was going on I forgot to breathe. Liv put her hands on my shoulders "look at me" she said "match my breathing" she said calmly looking me in the eye, "I could tell she must have picked this up on the job it seemed like she had done it a million times before,"deep breath in, deep breath out" she said slowly one time after another,after several minutes my breathing had returned to normal and I was laying in her arms my face buried in her chest. She was rubbing my back in those same small circles again as I calmed down. I was so exhausted I didn't realize it was actually Amanda stroking my hair I soon fell asleep.
