The Life I'm Living...

Chapter 8

Sage's POV

"Sage.." Jay whispered. 

I woke up, and looked over at Liam. 

"Is he okay??" I asked fast. 

"He beat the cancer." Jay smiled," He is cancer free, it's really a miracle." 

I started crying, full of sobbing tears of pure joy running down my face. 

"Girls, and there weird emotions." Jay muttered, rolling his eyes. 

"I'm happy, jerk." I played, smacking his arm," I'll let him sleep." 

"Ouch." He muttered, rubbing his arm.

"I texted everyone, and told them he made it, he doesn't have cancer anymore." 

"Hi, Sage." The doctor said, rubbing my hand," I guess we will be seeing a lot less of you huh?" 

I laughed and said "Thank you so much, so much." 

"It's my job." He whispered, hugging me, "you can take him home when he wakes up, but he will need to regain energy." 

"We understand doctor." Jay said, shaking his hand. 

"Have a good day, guys." and with that, he left. 

I sighed, and looked up at Jay, I never noticed how much taller he was than me..He was like a whole head taller. 

"So tall." I giggled, jumping up on the bed, wrapping my legs around his waist. 

"You love it." he smirked. 

"I do?" I tried acting Innocent. 

He leaned in and kissed me full on. I ran my fingers through his tangled hair. I heard him moan, when I traced his 6 pack. I felt his hand go under my shirt, and he ran his hands on my back. 

"Go Jay!" Liam said, making us jump, "Show her who's boss." 

"Umm..how long where you watching."

All He did was wiggle his eyebrows at us. I giggled, and walked over to Liam. 

"You did it, you know that?" 

"What'd I do?" 

"You are cancer free dude." Jay chimed in. 

"Really??" 

"Yes, yes you are." I smiled, kissing his cheek, "We will have to come back sometimes to make sure it stays away but it won't be bad." 

"I fought for you sissy, I'm like Jay, strong aren't I?" 

"Yes, yes you are." I whispered, glancing at Jay who had tears falling from his eyes. 

"You look up to me eh?" Jay smiled, nudging me. 

Liam smiled at his lap, and said "well..yeah." 

"I do the same to you little dude." and Jay went over, and hugged him. 

I quickly took a picture with out either of them noticing.. 

"Lets go home." I smiled.

We threw a really big party for Liam once he got all his energy back. 

"I'm gonna get you!!" Jade yelled, chasing Liam around in the backyard. 

"Sure you are!" 

"Heyy." Jay whispered in my ear. 

"Thank you." I whispered, turning to him. 

"For?" 

"Everything, always being there, I know my life is really hard to handle, and I don't deserve someone like you in my life, but I couldn't let you go because I needed you. I love you." 

"I love you so much, and if anyone deserves me, it's you." He said, wrapping his arms completely around my waist, kissing me, and lifting me off the ground. 

"Awe" Everyone yelled, and started clapping. 

I giggled, and he set me back down on the ground. 

"You two are so in love it's amazing really.." Jay's mom smiled at me. 

I blushed, as Jay grabbed my hand, and entwined his fingers with mine.

"Call you later." Jay said, walking out the door. 

He was the last one to leave the party. 

"Come on bubba you can sleep with me tonight." I said, as he climbed into my bed.

"Thanks, get an extra blanket out for us." 

I opened my closet door, and a letter fell out, I noticed it was the one mom wrote us. 

"Whoa, I completely forgot!" I exclaimed, scooping it up, and sitting by Liam.

"I-is that from mommy?" He whispered. 

I nodded and said "She wrote this for us.." 

"Open it." 

I slowly slid it open, and pulled the letter out. 

Dear Sage, and Little Liam

     I know you are probably wishing I was there to take care of you, but you both need to stay strong. Sage, I trust you to take care of Liam, and Liam take care of Sage. I'm always there with you guys, if you ever need me, I'm listening, promise. I know your father will be depressed, and I don't know if he will come out of it, but I need you two to be my soldiers. Darlings, I love you with every inch of myself. I hope you understand why I had to leave, It was just my time. Enjoy life, love, laugh, get married, and have kids. Be sure to tell them about me ;)

I quickly wrapped Liam in a tight hug, and smiled down at him. "I think we're doing good what about you?" 

"Definitely." He nodded," Lets go to sleep." 

I pulled the covers over us, and within minutes we where out like a light. 

My life is finally livable again. I'm more happy than ever. I wonder if Dad will ever come back? I wonder how Dean is? and I still wonder what is up with him. 

So many questions, that can wait to be answered.
