Chapter 11

Sage's POV

"Bye Liam!!" I yelled as he hopped on the bus. 

I was waiting for Jay to come and get me for school. I decided on wearing some plain black tights, and camo V-neck. Then I slipped on some combat boots, did lite make-up, and put my hair into a messy bun. Lazy day.

A honk from outside told me Jay was ready, so I went outside and got in to his Lambo. He got it for his birthday, which was a while ago but this is there late birthday present to him. 

"Ready for a fun filled day?" He asked me, his voice heavy with sarcasm. 

"Totally!" I yelled, rolling my eyes and laughing.

When we pulled up to the school, Jay and I had a plan on how we're gonna do this. Everyone was already looking at his car, waiting to see who would get out. We both slipped on our sunglasses, and nodded at each other. We both stepped out of the car slowly, looking like we owned the world. Jay came around, and grabbed my hand, lacing his fingers through mine, now I'm getting daggers from all the girls, and Jay is getting some from the boys. 

We started cracking up, as soon as we made it into the school. 

"What was that all about?" Lisa asked us. 

"Nothing, just having fun with my car, and my girlfriend." Jay smirked. 

Sarah and Kate both came running over, we exchanged hugs, and they squealed, meaning they saw our little act. 

"That was so cute!" Sarah yelled. 

"Wait!!" Kate giggled. 

"What?" Jay asked her. 

"What's that on your finger?" 

I looked down at my promise ring, and said "Promise ring, from Jay.." 

He leaned over and kissed my cheek, and then wrapped his arms protectively around my waist from behind. 

"WHAT??WHY AM I JUST NOW HEARING ABOUT THIS??" Sarah yelled, slapping me. 

"Hey, careful!" I laughed," I wanted to have my moment with Jay and the ring!!" 

"whatever.." Sarah mumbled. 

"I think it's sweet.." Kate said in 'awe' 

"Thanks.." I mumbled, blushing. 

'Ding' That was our Que to head to class, so we all went our separate ways.

At lunch we all sat together. 

"So hang on, Dean is your half brother?" Kate asked for the fifth time. 

"yes!!" We all yelled at her. 

"Well that must be awkward since you went on a date." Sarah laughed. 

"Shut up." I flicked her. 

"Ouch.." She mumbled. 

"Like I knew he was gonna be related to me.." I started to say but was interrupted. 

"Mind if I sit?" Dean asked, taking a seat next to Kate," I'm Dean to those of you who don't know me." 

"We all know you.." We all answered together. 

"So what are you doing over here, not not with the cool people?" Kate asked. 

"I wanted to come and see my sister." He explained," We have like 17 years of catching up to do." 

"Really?" I asked, shocked. 

He just nodded. 

I found Jay's hand under the table, squeezed it, and leaned over to kiss him.
