(Todd)
OLIVE POV:
When I got in Eathan's pickup, I pulled my bag from bag my back and pulled out a short dark purple dress.
"What are you doing?" Eathan asked looking at me.
"I'm changing what does it look like I'm doing? Now turn around so I can change." I slipped off my jeans and shirt and pulled on my dress. Is came just a few inches above me knee and had a deep v-neck.
Rachel's house was only about fifteen minutes away from mine and from the looks of it, Eathan drives pretty fast, so theirs not much chance we'll be late for this. And the less time I have to sit in awkward silence in Eathan's pickup the better.
When we get to Rachel's house, their was alot of cars their and loud music was coming from the house. We walked in the front door and took of our coats and hung them on the hook behind the door. As soon as I walked in, arms wrapped tightly around me. It was Rachel.
"Hey Rach! Happy birthday!" I said hugging her.
"Whose your friend?" She wispered in my ear.
"Oh this is Eathan, he's our hired hand." I replied. "Have you seen Todd?"
"Yeah he's over their I think." She said pointing to the living room." I walked in there leaving Eathan to talk to Rachel.
"Hey Live!" Todd, my boyfriend, jumped up from the couch. "I'm so happy you made it!" He leaned down and kissed my cheek. "Come sit down." I did as I was told and sat on the couch next to Todd. He leaned over and kissed my neck.
"Todd, stop. Not here." I said giggling.
"Okay fine, not here." He stood up and grabbed my wrist. He lead me back to one of the gest bed rooms in Rachel's house. We walked in and he locked the door behind us. "Sit down Live take a load off." I sad down and he pulled his jacket off his sholders. He came and sat next to me. "You loom really good Live." He said as he kissed my neck.
"Thanks Todd. You look good too." He pushed me so I was laying on my back and started pulling my spaghetti straps off my sholders. He started fumbling with the zipper on my back and finally got it lose and pulled the dress off me. "Todd what are you doing?" I tried to push him off me but he was to stong. He stood up but stayed in front of the door so I couldn't get out. He pulled his shirt up over his head then slid his pants down to the floor. Then he pushed me back onto the bed. This time sitting onto of me. He dipped down and kissed my neck.
"You look even better with that dress off." He wispered in my ear.
"Todd stop." I tried to push him off my again and it didn't work again.
"Oh come on Live, I know you want me. Just like I want you." He kissed my chest and grabbed my butt.
"Todd I'm not kidding get off me right now!" I said with anger filling my voice.
"No Live kiss me back right now."
"No Todd!" I screamed as load as I could.
I could hear the nob on the door moving but it was locked. I cried, but then their was a big bang and the door was open. Standing in the door frame was a tall shadow. Eathan. Eathan ha come to save me. He ran to the bed and grabbed Todd by the back of his neck and pulled him off of me. Rachel came running in and wrapped a blanket around me hand held me.
"Eathan I think you should take her home." Rachel said pulling her face away from my shoulder. I couldn't walk. I couldn't even stand. Rachel wrapped a blanket around me and her and Eathan helped me to my feel. Once I was up, I didn't stay like that for long. I crumbled falling into Eathan's chest. In one quick motion he lifted me off the gound. He carried me out to the car. He opened the door and sat me down. He ran around to the other side and got in. We drove away.
"I'm so sorry I made you come. I should have just stayed home. I knew it was a bad idea." My voice shook and tears started to run down my face.
"Olive, it's okay we ate just about back home." Eathan's voice sounded angry.
We pulled up but once we went under the arch Eathan turned his head lights off.
"What are you doing?" I asked throug tears.
"Well if we get home this early your grandparents will wonder what happened and I don't really think you want to tell them about this." I nodded. We pulled up to the barn. "I'm gonna talk you to the barn. Can you walk?" He asked with real concern.
"I'm not sure, I'm really dizzy."
"Okay don't push yourself I'll just carry you up. He ran around the pickup and grabbed my bag of extra clothes and carried me wedding style up to the loft. He laied me down on the bed then walked into the bathroom. I curled up in Rachel's blanket that was around me. Eathan came back. Now he had a pair of baseball shorts on and the beginning of a black eye. I sat up. He handed me one of his t-shirts to put on. I sat up and pulled it over my head. It was really big on me but I didn't really mind. It smelled like soap and fresh cut grass.
He kneeled down by the edge of the bed. He set one hand on my sholders and grabbed my chin with the other. He makes me look him in the eyes. They we they were light blue and almost sparkled in the dim light of the loft.
"Your eye, what happened?" I asked as I reached up and touched his eye brow.
"Nothing I'm fine." He said pulling back. Along with his eye, his fingers we cut and starting to bruse.
"Where did you get these?" I asked my voice cracking.
"Things just got a little out of hand before we left. It's no big deal." He said walking back into the bathroom. He returned with a wet wash cloth. "Lay down." A look worry flashed across my face. "Olive I promise I won't hurt you. I'm just gonna put this over your eyes to help with you head ace." He pushed lightly on my sholder and I leaned back. He set set the towel over my eyes. "Just relax, nothings gonna hurt you here. I promise."
I can't belive I trusted that joke. How stupid was I? I thought as I drifted of to sleep.
