I opened the front door to see Michael, he had his normal bored expression on his face.

"Some guy, said that you'd be over here" said Michael, scratching the back of his neck.

What guy?

Oh shit. Nathan.

"Oh, did he say anything else?" I ask, praying that Nathan wasn't drunk when they'd spoken.

"Nope" Michael replied, popping the 'p'.

Matt, came outside and locked the door behind him. Standing directly in between Michael and me, eyeing the both of us before walking over to Michael's car.

"Who's he?" Asked a very confused Michael.

I'm guessing that Luke hadn't told him that I was bringing along Matt.
Great, Michael probably hated me even more now.

"That's Matt, he's a friend, Luke said that I could bring him" I ramble, talking even faster than before, out of nerves.

"Of course Luke said that" Michael replied, rolling his eyes as he walked over to his car and sat in the drivers seat.

I walked over and opened the car door, Matt quickly got out. Clearly he wanted me to get the middle seat. Hannah seemed really sweet, so it shouldn't be that bad.
I got in, sitting in the middle of the two. Hannah had ear buds in, so I'm not even sure if she noticed me sit next to her. Matt on the other hand decided to poke me seven billion times for pay back from this morning.
Rani sat in the front on the phone with one of her friends, you could tell because who ever was on the other line kept saying oh my God and no way shutup, or my personal favourite, and she was like and I was like- you get the point. I didn't like to follow stereotypes, but whoever was on the other end of that call was your typical cheerleader cliché.

After Rani hung up, the car was filled with an awkward silence. I was too nervous to break the silence, so I just sat there, staring at my feet. Thinking about how far down the line of the Periodic Table, I could get just from memory.
Answer- number thirty (Zinc).

Rani pressed a button and music came blaring in. It was pop, probably something that I should know because it's on the top 100.
The only pop artist I listened to was One Direction, otherwise I was mostly into rap or indie.

Only a few seconds later, Michael turned the dial and rap music blared through the stereo.

"It's a compromise, we both don't like hip hop" mumbled Michael to Rani.

I clearly knew the song, it was Rae Sremmurd's, This could be us.

Matt looked at me, a grin growing on his face as the chorus was coming up. Him and I knew all the words to this song and may have jammed out to it before.

"Now back to what I was saying" sang Matt, getting everyone in the car's attention.
He pointed to me, clearly trying to cue me for my line.

"This could be us but you playin'," I sang quietly, earning weird looks from everybody because I clearly sucked.

Michael quickly shut the radio off right after I'd finished singing. I guess I really was, that  bad. It's not like I'd ever be a professional singer anyway.

.

We finally pulled into the parking lot at 11:47 a.m.  I looked out the window at the gigantic rides. I felt my stomach do a flip, I was praying that they wouldn't make me go on any big ones. Heck, I was even scared of the ferris wheel.

"Michael, I'll see you later, I'm meeting up with Raya" Rani said, giving him a quick kiss before walking in the other direction.

Michael looked mad, probably because Rani had left. So I decided on not talking, because I didn't want to piss him off more.
