Chapter 4: I Can't Stand Being Without You

Saki POV

"Hm~! First one to the gate as usual! Hikari always take her time." I spoke my thoughts out loud. I quickly became depress, "Well, of course. I mean I had a fight with her... Should I act as if I am still mad?" I was having deep thoughts next to the gate. "Did I took my actions too far? I wonder if I can make-up with her..."

Suddenly someone tap my shoulder, "Whaa!!?"

"-Ah!" I got scared from behind. "Don't scare us like that Saki!" I turn around, "You too, Umi!"

"You were in deep thoughts Saki." "I-I was, Mio?"

"Do you want to walk to the classroom together?" ask Umi. I hesitated. "It will be just for today. Just for today." I said in my mind. "Ok guys~"

We walk together, "I was joking around about walking with us Saki. Aren't you suppose to say what you always say to us in the morning? 'Oh, I'm sorry guys but I need to wait for my girl~' What happen?"

Saki became embarrass, "Do I really say all that all the time?" Mio quickly nods her head, "You do." I sigh, "Well it'll just be for today."

While my friends was having a conversation, I saw Hikari at the gate. "I shouldn't make eye contact with her!" I quickly join in my friends conversation, "I know right! She suddenly trip and fell on the grass. She was so cute."

"Who are you talking about Saki?" ask Umi. "Her girlfriend perhaps?" teased Mio. "N-no! What are you talking about Mio?!" I said.

I look back at Hikari and saw her with another student. I know they're classmates... But, she's getting too close to my Hikari~!!

I was eavesdropping in their conversation behind my back, "Right..." said Hikari. "Her replies seem boring! You can't be friendly with her that easily classmate girl." I said in my mind. I was giggling to myself.

"You're acting weird Saki." comment Umi. I stop, "Hehe.. Really?"

I couldn't hear their conversation anymore. Then I saw them walking closer to us. "Is Hikari going to say something to me?" I was not confidant yet. I went behind my friends,"That's not always true~!" Hikari was pouting and was acting like a spoiled kid.

I heard Hikari and she just walked passed me. I stopped walking after Hikari passed me, "What's wrong Saki?" ask Mio. "... Nothing." I said. I caught up with them, "So about the other day..." said Umi.

"Wait a minute... Why is she acting like that to her classmate? She never acted like that to me." I ask myself in my mind. I was feeling jealous. I want her to myself.

I was feeling down all day. "Come on Saki. She should still be in her classroom." My friends were trying to comfort me. "Don't let your home-made bentos go to waste!" said Mio. I sigh, "Alright then. I'll try to make-up with her during lunch."

I grab my two bento box and left my classroom. "Her class should be-" I suddenly saw Hikari run out of her classroom and chase after the same girl from this morning, Hikari yelled, "Wait for me!"
I was holding my two bento boxes. "..."

I went back to my classroom, heart broken. "It might have been bad timing." insist Umi. My head was on my desk. I haven't touch my lunch yet, "She looked so happy when she yelled. She even ran in the hallway! I think it might be better if..." "Don't give up now Saki!" interrupted Mio.

She bang her hands next to my head which spooked me, "Is that how much love you only have for her?! Tell me what was your special moments with her and why?!"

Umi was feeling awkward. She gave out a big sigh, "Love relationship is Mio's passion so you better fess up Saki or else..."

I know I was going to say something embarrassing, "S-she said she love me... She made me feel... Happy." It was an unexpected answer for the both of them. "Saki's surprisingly innocent about love." said Umi in her mind.

"That's it?... That's it?!" Mio's loud voice spooked the whole class who was still there. "By my calculations from your answer, she is a troublesome shy tsundere. You have to be aggressive young one."

"Why is Mio acting like a old man? You guys are the same age!" said Umi in her mind.

I sigh,"I did yesterday and that's how I got in a fight with her." Umi became curious, "What happened yesterday?"

"We went on a date and we went to this shop. I manage to get us in one dressing room because I asked the lady."

"How?" ask Mio. "Pretty please~?" I was doing my puppy eyes. Umi was covering her eyes, "Too cute!" Mio quickly put sunglasses on from somewhere, "Is it me or it's too bright in here?" said Mio.

"Then she let us go together."

"Saki did she acted like Umi?" I look at Umi, "Saki's so cute~"

"I guess. Well anyways. When we got in the dressing room, we were changing. She asked me what I would want to do next so I kiss her."

"So you made your move?" comment Mio. Umi slap her face, "I'm wrong. Saki is not innocent..." said Umi in her mind.

"But she told me to stop and I said that I'll leave her alone for awhile and I left. I thought I could give her space after that happened."

"I understand now Saki. You forcefully kiss her while she was still changing and suddenly left. It was your fault you two are in a fight!" Umi slap my back.

"No! It's not Saki's fault. She's doing what I taught her! It's her girlfriend fault for not going with the flow!" said Mio. Umi and Mio was now arguing who was at fault.

I look at the time and the bell was about to ring. I quickly ate my lunch. I decided to eat my second bento at home.

"Hikari is shy and not honest. So I have to be direct with her..."
