Chapter 11: Sister

Hikari POV

I was walking to school and I saw her, waiting under the light pole. "Akira..." She was leaning on a light pole looking at the ground. She grin and slowly raise her head. "I'm back onee chan. I really missed you during the four years."

I hesitated in front of her, "What are you going to do after being locked up for four years?" She walks closer to me. She was like a reflection of me from a mirror. She put her hand on my cheek, "I'm sorry if I got you got in trouble. I had no choice but to harm him." I saw her evil grin when she slowly hug me. "Mm-mm. I know." I was making a cold face and she didn't see it.

My twin sister made me being late for most of my classes. We were sitting down at the park bench. "I'm sorry onee chan. I made you stayed with me." I drank from my water bottle, "It's fine. I didn't feel like going to school anyways." Akira grab my water bottle from my hand and took a sip. "Say, onee chan... Have you gotten close to anyone while I was gone?" I hesitated again, "Why do you always ask me that question?" She put my water bottle down next to her, "Onee chan you can't trust anyone besides me. Onee chan, you only need me to rely on." said Akira.

"R-right..." My twin sister. Akira, is different from other normal sisters. She can be consider a cold blooded person in our human society. "Akira, I'm worry about you. How have they been treating you there. Were you hurt anywhere? Where are you going to stay? Do you eat enough food? How about sleeping right?" I was asking tons of worried questions to my sister.

She suddenly hug me again, "I'm ok onee chan because all I need is you... Please don't leave me." I wrap my arms around her, "I won't do that sort of thing." We were having our sisterly moments. "Ah! I need to use the bathroom. Can you wait for me onee chan?" I let go of her as soon as she said it. "Ok." She left.

I sat alone on the bench thinking to myself. "She was all alone for four years... She needs me. We only have each other left as a real family." I heavily sigh and spoke the rest of my thoughts out loud, "Senpai, what should I do?  I was not alone for those past four years."

I heard foot-steps coming. "I'm back onee chan." I gave her a quick fake smile, "Are you hungry? Let's go somewhere." I suggested. She followed me to a café. I ordered my usual strawberry set. Akira chose to eat chocolate sweets with milk.

I ask, "Akira do you want to stay with me again now that your term is over?" "Mm... Ok onee chan. Hey onee chan who's senpai?" I jolted my hand. "Did she heard me?" I said in my mind.

I quickly sigh, "She's just someone I know at school." I didn't feel like eating anymore. Suddenly I saw senpai walking home with her friends. I quickly suggested something, "Akira where do you want to go next? Do you want to pretend we're on a date? Let's have fun; I can tell you the latest popular things too."

Akira was so happy. "Really onee chan?! I'm so happy! I love you onee chan~!" She got off from her chair and hug me. She was making me embarrass. "I'll pay for the food so let's go somewhere right now." "Ok~"

I saw Senpai and her friends going to the same café where we were. I grab Akira's hand and we look around. I was telling her what happen around here of the four years she missed then we went to a store that sells accessories. Akira seems to be loving our date so far. I bought Akira a star necklace and I bought myself a crescent moon necklace. "The star and moon are always together in the sky no matter how far apart they are." I said.

We left the shop and Akira was emotional from what I said. "Onee chan~! We'll always be together right? Right? I will not let anyone harm you. We only need each other."

"Y-yeah..." I was walking Akira to another store. "I definitely can't tell her..." I said in my mind. Akira is like a baby so I need to hold her hand. She pointed out to the bench far from the shops, "Onee chan can we hang out over there instead? I'm getting a little tire."

"Mm? Ok, Akira." It was evening and I was still with my twin sister. Two guys came up to us. "Hey lovely ladies~ Wanna hang out with us?" The second guy spoke, "We're pretty bored and you ladies are so dazing we can't help but approach you two. You two look so identical."

I didn't know what to do so I glance at my sister. She was glaring at them intensely. "What do you want? You are interrupting my date with onee chan." said Akira.

The guys were stutter, "D-date? Aren't you girls lonely with a man's company?" Akira whisper to my ear, "I'll be gone for a few minutes. Wait here for me onee chan."

"B-but." She stand up, "One is fine right? I know a good place for us to be." said Akira. One of the guy touch her shoulder, "Oh? So you know what I'm talking about then?" The other guy was touching her waist, "You're such a greedy girl~ Where do you think is a good place for us to do it?"

They were walking further and further away from me. I was scared, not by the guys, but by my own sister just now. "She's serious. I have to stop her!" I thought to myself. She's going to hurt them!

3rd POV

"Is your mom doing fine Saki?" "Uhmm... Yeah, last time I saw her she was doing fine." "Have you learn anything new from your girlfriend yet?" ask Mio. They were hanging out together.

"Isn't that Hikari?" Umi pointed out. Mio look around and saw two guys with her, "Did she got tired of you and started hanging out with boys now?!"

Saki has a shocking expression on her, "I'm... Going after her."  Saki speed walk away from her friends.

"Agh, and there she went after her princess." said Umi. Mio tug Umi's shirt, "Wanna go somewhere else, just the two of us?" ask Mio. "Umm... Sure, shopping for your boyfriend? I know you need another girl's preference."

"Eh? Y-yeah. His birthday is coming up." "Then let's go!" Umi grab Mio's arm and march the opposite direction of Saki.

Saki followed Hikari but lost her. When she turn a corner, she saw Hikari ran across from her. "What? I thought I saw her walking around the corner with two guys? When did she start running?"

I know where Akira would take the two guys, but she's a faster person than me. It's hard for me to catch-up to her. I stopped running and speed walk to the closet back alley way. "Is this it?" I heard voices in the back alley.

"Are you really sure you wanna be here with two guys?" The two guys surround Akira, "To tell you the truth, I liked the other girl better even though you guys are twins." My hands were shaking and my legs froze. It's happening again just like last time. They're going to rape her. I'm too scared to move! Was this how senpai felt when she try to saved me?

The small threats did not offended her. She sigh, "My onee chan won't like it if I did it in front of her again. That is why I took you two away from her first."

"Umm... I don't know what you're talking about." "So it's fine for us to do it only to you?" They were taking off their pants.

Before I could try to take a step, I heard a scream from the back alley. It sounded really far away, but they were so close. Without thinking, I ran back.

"Hey... Don't fall asleep now. This is your punishment for disturbing onee chan and my first date after the past four years." Two bodies was lying on the ground. She drop a blade next to each of them. "Now... Time to continue our date~"

I came back to the bench and waited. I saw Akira walking back here. "Sorry onee chan. Did you wait long? The two guys had a curfew so they left me behind. Can't you see how terrible they are?"

I stutter over my word, "Y-yeah. Are you hurt anywhere?" Akira seem confuse, "Don't worry onee chan. They couldn't touch me if they wanted too."

I hug Akira, "Don't go anywhere, just stay with me." Akira touch my shoulder, "If that's what you wish then, ok onee chan."

Once I said that, Akira follow me home. Aria and Kei was very surprise to see my twin. It was unexpected for them, then again, they also adopted Akira to their household with me. They know where she was for the past four years and why.

With their short unsure welcome back greetings, we went to my room. "Onee chan? Can I sleep with you?" Akira sat patiently on the ground waiting for me answer. "Don't you have your own room next to mines?" I ask. "But it's been a long time since I slept with to you onee chan." I look at her then sigh. I petted her head, "Ok then."  Akira cuddle me under my blanket and finally the night has pass.
