Chapter 3

(Mavis P.O.V)

Today was just another plain day,right now i'min my backyard playing football.Do you know I sing? only while playing football though. I've always wanted to do a complete show while playing the guitar and sing.But I don't have the guts to sing in front of people and I'm hopeless playing the guitar.I've always wanted to play the guitar but when tried, being the clumsy person I am, ended up breaking the strings.

Right now I was practising my kicks, I tried a back kick, but me being the clutz I am slipped and lost my balance also losing the contact with the ball. I heard an "ouch" behind me.I quickly got up to see where the sound came from I turned to see The Hayden sterling looking at me with a shocked and hurt expression.

"first,wow" hayden said.

"second,what the hell that hurts" hayden told.

"sorry sorry sorry,wait did u say wow?" I asked

" yea I did" he answered

"but why?" I asked

"because you did a back kick" he answered back

"so?" I asked in confusion

"but your a girl" he said while  putting on his signature smirk,time to put on the sarcastic cap, I thought to myself. 

"Oh,really thank you for letting me know, I never knew!!" I smirked back

"The pleasure is mine, babe" he said

"Don't call me babe" I said while crossing my hands over my chest

"ok, babe" he smirked again

I got pissed and walked away

"Wait, you never told me your name" hayden said

"Well, you never asked" i said with a grin

"ok,So what's your name?" he asked

"Find it out for yourself, I don't wanna answer to a guy who said girls can't play" I told and turned back to my house.

"but that's not fair" He whined

"life is not fair, bye hayden" I said and got into my house and was greeted by my dad, rushing around looking for something.

"Hiya dad watcha looking for?" I asked while looking into he fridge. What? a girl has got to eat after a 2 hour practice.

"Just my tie , have you seen my tie? oh and go get ready we are going to our new neighbours house" my dad said

"We have new neighbours?!?!?" when did this happen.How come I didn't even know? i think to myself

"yeah, we have new neighbours" my dad said

"When did this happen?" I asked

"umm..... it happened a week ago, which world were you in ?"

"I think I got lost in space" i said (note the sarcasm)

"Why did i ever bring you back?" my dad asked

"Because you looooovvvvveeee me" I smiled

"that, I do" my dad smiled

"Be ready in 15 minutes, oh and wear a dress" my dad told

"but I don't have a dress" I whined

"wear your mom's dress" my dad told me

"but I'm not mom's size" i told 

"Exactly, so unless you want to look like a potato sack, wear  that one dress you own" he smirked

"okay, but I'm wearing my converse" I said
