Alessia (pov)

That was the second time I broke down infront of them.

I ran out of the living room and locked myself in my room and cried.

What was I supposed to do now?

I was completely and utterly confused. I despised it.

Jake came knocking.

I ignored him.

After a while, I figured he wasn't going to leave me alone, so I opened the door.

I gave him an annoyed look.

He just waltzed in ignoring me and sat himself on my bed.

"That was epic, wasn't it?"

I just stared at him.

"I mean it could have been worse. Atleast this way we know we're still alive till we're thirty."

He laughed loudly.

How was he finding this amusing?

When he saw I wasn't joining in, he got up with a serious face and sat next to me on the ground.

"It's okay. It's just grounding. Honestly, it's not all bad."

He said it softly.

"Dad'll forget all about it by tomorrow, you'll see."

Grounding?

Is that what he thought I was upset about?

Oh Jake!

"It's not that Jake."

I finally spoke up and looked at him.

"Then what is it?"

He asked concerned.

Tears were on the verge again.

So I just shook my head.

We sat in silence.

"I kinda liked 'Stoned Kaitlyn'."

He said after a bit. I looked at him and let out a small laugh.

At the end, we both doubled over with laughter, as we recalled all that Kaitlyn did tonight.

"We should have recorded her. She would never believe us."

Jake said, as he walked out of my room.

"Yeah. We should have."

I said with a small smile.

"Night Alessia."

"Goodnight."

Jake turned out to be right. The next day as we told Kaitlyn all she did, she just looked at us and kept covering her face, embarrassed, refusing to believe us.

The week passed quickly, as the three of us served our punishment. And again Jake was right. It wasn't all that bad.

I mean, I'd had worse.

All was forgiven by Ned and Sara and everything had gone back to normal. But we still had two more weeks of chores.

I was in my room one afternoon, when I heard a car pull up the driveway.

I ran to the window to check who it was.

It was Anna!

Anna was here!
