A few days have passed. You still didn't get any information about Star..except 'one of those kids'. What could he possibly mean? Has he seen Alfred before..well it's not unusual your family was on tv many times. Ugh! All this questions were messing with your head! You need a break...to the kitchen!
It was way past midnight but you didn't feel like sleeping, more that you couldn't fall asleep. So why not have a snack? I think you had some pudding left in the fridge.
You made your ways downstairs, very carefully to not wake up anyone.However, when you finally made it to the kitchen, you were not alone.Alfred was there. He wasn't eating ..he was cooking?!
"A-Alfred?"
He turned around , looking worried but when he saw it was you he sighed with relief "(Y/N)...why are you here?"
"I can't fall asleep so I wanted to grab a snack..how about you?"
He looked at the counter than at you "..I...wanted to try out this new recipe"
"I never knew you like cooking..." you said while sitting down near him.
"Yeah.."he looked happy but not his usual energetic happy , more calm happy..like he was in his plate.
"Say(Y/N) want to..um..be my first taster?" a light blush appeared on his face..guess you really are his first taster, ever.
You smiled at him "I'd be delighted too".
He gave you a piece of cake full of strawberries and a cup of tea. The cake was very good, it melted in your mouth and combined with the tea..paradise.
"This is so good.." you were amazed by how great it tasted.
"R-Really?..I was worried you wouldn't like it.."
"I love it ♥_♥ "
He smiled and patted your head " Thank you."
After a few minutes, the cake and the tea were gone and so were you. You were sound asleep, using the table as your pillow. Alfred picked you up bridal style and took you back to bed. "I'm glad..I managed to help.." he leaned down to give you a good night kiss but..stopped half way.
The next morning was a rough one. When you were walking down to have breakfast you heard the twins argue.
"YOU DRUGGED HER! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT" yelled Rika.
"She couldn't fall asleep..."
"We agreed not to use anything on her unless it is necessary!" Rina yelled
"I wanted her to rest.."
"You WANTED. Not the rest of us...god damn it Alfred.." Sebastian.
As soon as you entered the room, they all stopped fighting and looked away.
"Good morning?"
"Morning..."Alfred replied, he looked hurt but it didn't look like he wanted to talk about it so you kept quiet.
The whole breakfast felt awkward, nobody was talking ...just eating in silence...something was off...what were they arguing about...who did he drug?..Definitely not you,...right?
