Grace sits in front of the mirror, scowling down at all of the beauty products that are layer out on front of her, then turns and scowls even more at Gemma, the beautician. I can tell this is gonna be a heck of a fight. "Grace please? It's our first premier, and besides...you have this to wear. " I say, holding up her pretty aqua blue chiffon dress.

She looks over at me, then says reluctantly "can I wear my converse?"

I ponder this for a split second. "Yes. The white ones. " she breathes out a sigh of releif, but Gemma looks horrified.

"But these would look SO much better!" She insists, holding up a super-cute pair of sparkly silver sling back heels. She's right, but I don't want to push grace, so I say the converse are fine.

"Now go change," I say, excited to see her in the full outfit.

About five minutes later, she comes outside, dressed up and everything. Gemma hardly glances her way before saying to Scott, "what do we do with the hair?" I almost laugh with the way she says it. "The hair." Like it's some disease or something.

Scott hardly looks up from his palm pilot. "Something simple. It's their first premier. "

Gemma nods and looks excited. 'Ooh, how bout some ringlets??" I can almost see graces face turning green with the thought of a dress, makeup AND ringlets. Grace pulls out her phone and starts grumbling under her breath. Her hair takes roughly an hour to curl, since its all separate ringlets. My finished hair ends up being a fancy bun with my bangs off to the side and a sparkly headband for effect.

As we slide into our sleek escalade escort, I turn to her. "You ready?"

She waves her hand at me. "Of course. "
