Chapter Seven

It's been awhile): Sorry you guys ive just had a lot going on in my life at the moment so getting on here was like a no go. Well here's chapter seven,woop woop. Really hope you all like it.....xoxo

~~~Amy's POV~~~

I still can't believe what happened last night. I can't believe Mitch would cheat on me so easily and then expect me to welcome him with open arms....actually i can. Everything is just so fucked up. I don't want to get out of bed. I wish i could just hide here under  the blankets forever, never having to face the harsh realities of my life. Mitch knows what Jason has been doing to me and Jason knows what Mitch and  I  have been doing behind his back. Why can't i  have a normal life? With a normal mother and father and brother. Not one who is an alcoholic or one who walked out on his family or  one who used to molest his little sister.....

"Amy?" My brother asks from my doorway.

I roll over so that my back is to him.

"Amy...." my name fades from his lips, "i think its time we all sit down and have a talk."

I neither move or respond.

"Okay, okay. We'll be out here waiting whenever you decide to get up." With that he quietly shuts the door and i hear his footsteps fade down the hall.

Jesus....I breathe

Twenty minutes later i decide to get out of bed. Throwing on a hoodie and shorts i barely look at myself in the mirror, god only knows what i would find staring back at me. When i walk into the living room i see Mitch and Jason sitting on the floor with their backs against the couch; they don't say anything to each other but stare silently at our small TV. Tico is stretched out on  the sofa, snoring like there's no tomorrow.

"Breakfast anyone?" I ask

They turn around at the same time and stare at me.

"Sure, but lets go out, there's no food here. I'll pay," Mitch says after a moment of awkward silence.

"Let me just get Tico up then we'll go," Jason murmurs to no one in particular. He stands up and begins to shake Tico's still form. He doesn't respond at first but then Jason eventually gets him up. I watch as Tico stumbles into our bathroom, leaving me all alone with them.

No one speaks and the silence begins to  be unbearable.

"Where's mom?" I ask Jason.

"She left early this morning, you were still sleeping but i was up and saw her go."

"Oh,"

At that moment Tico steps out of the bathroom, he looks a little drowsy but has ultimately returned back to normal. I remember when i had a crush on him, God i thought he was the finest guy on Earth.

"Aight where we goin'? I'm fucking starving!" Tico asks us.

"How about the little diner in town?" Mitch asks Jason

"Sure," he replies, his eyes locked on the floor the entire time.

~~~Thirty Minutes Later~~~

I hop out of the backseat and take a look around the neighborhood. There's not much to look at but its better then the hideous view of trailers and the trash that lives in them. After scoping out the scene i turn around and head into the diner behind Jason and Mitch, Tico following close behind. When we finally situate ourselves and place our orders,a deafening silence surrounds us.

"Why the fuck is everyone so damn quiet?" Tico demands. "I feel like I'm missing something, shit. Amy how's school?"

"I'm on vacation T, but its okay i guess,"
