"So what's the game plan?" I ask once we're outside of the bank and Derek's taken care of Erica. I felt bad for the girl, no one should die that young. And I can tell from the look in Derek's eyes when he came out holding Erica's body, he felt guilty.

"We go after them, what else?" Derek says, not looking at anyone. It was only Scott, Derek and I since Allison decided she needed some time so she drove off.

"I know that, but how?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"I'll go after Cora. Scott you go after Boyd." Derek decided. Scott looked hesitant, but he nodded. Derek looked at me.

"Come on, you're helping me. I could use you as bait." He smirked, and Scott rolled his eyes.

"I'll call you if something's up." Scott says, looking at me. He flashes me a quick smile of reassurance and runs off into the woods.

"Are we running too?" I asked, and Derek shook his head.

"Not when I have a car." Once we both got in the car, we drove to what Derek said was the preserve, which pretty much was what I would call the woods.

"How do you know where Cora is?" I asked, wanting to fill in the silence as we both got out of the car.

"Actually, I don't. But I do know that her and Boyd will be here. It's the closest thing to the bank."

"Someone's a smart alpha." I smiled, as I looked toward the woods.

"Thank you for noting my genius." Derek chuckled, as he looked over at me.

"Hey, what's on your neck?" He asked, moving closer to me.

"Oh it's nothing." I said, grabbing my neck ignoring the pain, and stepped away.

"Luna.. Let me see." Derek said with a firm tone, looking into my eyes. I let out a sigh, and stepped toward him, bending my neck, giving him clear vision. His hand reached out and his fingertips grazed my neck. I hissed in pain, and Derek pulled back his hand.

"Cora did this to you?" Derek asks, his voice quiet.

"It's fine. I'm fine, don't worry." I assured him, turning towards him.

"No, you're not, Luna." Derek gritted, looking me in the eyes.

"They're just bruises, Derek. I'm going to be okay." I told him, placing a hand on his arm.

"You don't understand, you just don't." Derek shook off my hand and and turned away.

"What don't I understand? I knew going to the bank I was at risk of getting hurt. I'm lucky I only have cuts and bruises."

"Why do you think I didn't want you to go in the first place?" Derek exclaimed, turning towards me, his eyes full of anger.

"Derek, I-" But Derek's phone rang off.

"Did you find him?" Derek asked into the phone.

"You lost him?"

"Fine.. Okay. I'll bring Isaac. I'm at the entrance of the preserve on the trail. Okay, see you then." Derek said, and hung up.

"Was that Scott?" I asked, crossing my arms, shivering from the cold.

"Yeah, he said it would be easier to track down Cora and Boyd if we stick together. He had to drop off something, so he'll be here soon. I have to call Isaac though." Derek said, dialing Isaac's phone number.

"Isaac. Come to the preserve." Was all Derek said, and he hung up the phone.

"How do you know he'll find us?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
