Polo has grown!

Georgia's P.O.V

I sat in my room hearing people arrive, I needed some time now, to think. Before the Atwood family had taken me in as their own, I was alone, I didn't know my last name, or where I came from, or even who abandoned me. It's my very first time feeling loved, feeling like I belong somewhere, it's so overwhelming I don't know how to act. To cry, to laugh, to jump for joy. After this what am I supposed to do, spend the rest of my days in Ohio? I don't think so, I need to start writing my own story, with people I meet along the way. I want to travel and do seemingly impossible things. After Christmas, I'm going to do something I've wanted to do forever! But I can't tell you until it happens. Don't worry it won't change me as a person, it also won't change my relationship status.

"Georgia!" I heard my name being called up the stairs.

"Coming!" I yelled back.

I made my way down the stairs hearing the chorus of laughing coming from my family. I saw Romans mom and gave her a hug.

"Merry Christmas!" She smiled kissing the top of my head.

"Merry Christmas." I smiled back to her, I then greeted everyone else and carried all the presents under the tree.

"I'm going to go get Noah." Roman said so we could all hear.

"Okie dokie." I said and others also said "okay."

I then heard a knock at the patio door and then a thump, I turned to see Polo had jumped against the door, and Roman's brother and kids with mamo. I ran and opened the door as Polo jumped on me to greet me.

"Hey boy!" I praised. "Aren't you getting big?" Zeus came over to me obviously getting jealous. "Hello Zeusey boy." I smiled kissing his head. "I'll take you two over presents any day." I smiled.

Once Noah and Roman got back we all sat down, adults on the sofa, children + me on the floor.

"For Kane." Said Roman's mom and passed it to Kane, he was grinning widely as he opened it. It was a batman onesie and on the hood were little cute bat ears.

"Awww that's so sweet!" I smiled as he lifted it up.

"Me love it!" He said. He gave her a hug and she gave him another present whispering something in his ear.

"This for you." Kane smiled giving me a small present, not to small it was like a book size.

"Thankyou." I said opening it. I soon revealed it was a sketching journal, with ink and pens.

"You have to dip the pen in the ink, I thought I'd get you something for when your feeling productive." She smiled.

"Thanks." I smiled giving her a hug.

I got a few other things but personally having to explain every single detail makes me bored. The only thing that has kept me entertained while the family play with the arcade machine is my guitar. Already filmed a few covers (changing my shirt in each video so it looks like I filmed them different days).

I was about to film yet another video but without my guitar when my phone buzzed and the ringtone called out to me.

"Hello?" I said without reading the name.

"Hey Georgia." I checked the name quickly before I answered.

"Hey Emma, Merry-"

"Christmas! Yes beat you to it." She yelled causing my to almost drop my phone.

"Oh haha, what did you get?" I asked.

"I got a few things, a laptop though. Can I come round? I want to give you my present, Christians been bugging me all day asking when we can come." She exhaled with a laugh. I then heard Christian shout at her while she burst out laughing.

I walked downstairs and Kane jumped up at me, I picked him up and swung him around.

"Merry Christmas!" He yelled at me.

"Thankyou." I say as I kissed his cheek. "Dad?" I say walking into the living room where everyone was.

"Yes sweetie." He says shooting my a cheeky grin.

"Can Emma and Christian come round?" I ask returning the smile.

"Sure they can." He smiled nodding.

I hear a knock at the door and swiftly run to open it, Emma was stood standing awkwardly as Christian was doing cartwheels behind her.

"Help me." She states, we both burst out laughing as she walks past me and also watched her brother.

"Are you coming in or not." I said as he cartwheeled into a kneeling position.

"I'm dizzy." He chuckled walking in.

We walk into the living room and my family (I got a family!) greet them kindly, we then settle on the floor in front of the tree.

"Okay you go first." Emma says opening her bag and revealing a box covered in doodle style wrapping paper, she smiles and hands it to me. I carefully unwrap the wrapping so it doesn't tare (I like keeping it) and opened the box. At first I see a white knitted bobble hat and smile, I lift it and there is a pear of white converses.

"Thankyou." I smile giving her a hug. "Here." I say passing her hers.

"Holy.... Guacamole." She says styling it out. She puts the beanie on then both the snap backs. "I'm so stylish."

"Here ya go." I say passing Christian a small box, Emma gives me a hug bonking me on the head with her SnapBack.

"OH MY GOD!" Christian screams in a deafening way.

"Ahhhhhhh." Most people scream, including me, at his sudden outburst.

"THANK YOU SO MUCH!" He yells joining our hug but excitedly swaying around. Everyone burst out laughing.
