I arrived back at the Prelims to see the winners all lined up at the front. "Dakota-Sensei!" Sakura squeaked as she and Minato looked up at me. I sighed and gave her a small smile as Shikamaru asked if there was going to be only one winner. "Where did you go?" She asked and I shook my head. "Don't worry about it, Sakura." I said and ruffled her hair. I looked around and noticed Kakashi was gone. 'Musta went to check on Sasuke...good.' I thought.

"Dakota-Sensei, Sakura! Where's Kakashi-Sensei!?" Naruto yelled and I rolled my eyes. Loud as ever. "He went to check on Sasuke." I yelled back and he nodded as he ran up to me. "You were right, Coco-Sensei! I won!" He said and shoved the paper with the number '1' on it in my face. "Cause I believed in you, baka." I said and put him in a head lock and giving him a noogie.

"What do you say we visit Sasuke?" I said and the two nodded as Minato sat by my feet. "YEAH!" Naruto yelled and dashed out of the arena. "Come on, Sakura, Minato. Before he gets into some sort of trouble." I sighed and Sakura giggled as we all started walking out. I spotted Gaara and I sighed, making him look up at me with his famous glare but I saw that Skukaku was trying to get out. I gave him a smile and waved before following my student out.

"-ROOM!?" I sighed and bonked Naruto over the head. "Can it, bud. It's a hospital so be quiet." I said and he looked up at me with a put as he rubbed his head. "BUT COD-" I whacked him across the head again with Sakura. "Quiet!" I snapped. "Naruto, listen to Cody." I heard Kakashi say from my left. I looked over and we made eye contact. He nodded slowly and I closed my eyes as I exhaled.

"KAKA-STOP HIT-OUCH!" I smacked him across the head again, making Minato whine. "Stop yelling, then!" I said and he huffed at me. "I have a request!" Naruto said, keeping his voice low. "No need to tell me. I already know what you're going to ask. I've found someone to look after your training." I scoffed and shook my head. "Can't believe its him." I said and looked down at Sakura. "Wanna hit the hot springs?" She blinked up at me.

"B-but Dakota-Sensei...I didn't win..." I shrugged. "So? Just means you'll train harder...yes?" I said, raising an eyebrow. "Y-Yes, Sensei!" She beamed at me and I smiled. "I'll meet you at the gate in three hours. I have something I need to take care of, first." She nodded and ran off. I looked at Kakashi and sighed.

"I'll see you later." I said and started walking out but he caught my arm. "Are you alright?" I nodded and gave him a small smile. "Fine. Go introduce Naruto to Ebisu." His eye narrowed at me. "You suck at lying, Cody." I withdrew my arm. "I can deal-I'm fine! Just...I need to think right now." I said and looked down. "Then you'll tell me what's going on?" I sullenly nodded. "Yes.." I whispered and he sighed. "Alright." He said and placed a hand on my cheek. I looked up with a pained look before teleporting away.

"....DAKOTA!!!!" I heard Sarah screech. I blinked and I nearly vomited. "GROSS! MY VIRGIN EYES!!" I screamed as I ran out of the room of Sarah and Codan's house. I jumped over the railing and landed in the living room. I yanked the door open and slammed it shut as I ran down the road towards Jirouchi's house which wasn't far.

I jumped through the window that led into the living room and ran past him into the kitchen. "My eyes are forever ruined!" I cried as I started splashing my eyes with water. "What...?" Jirouchi asked with a lost tone. "I saw..*shudder shudder* Codan and Sarah...in bed-" "STOP!" He yelled and plugged his ears. "I don't want to hear it!" He continued as I shuddered.

"Why did you go there?" He asked and I frowned, forgetting about the scene of my brother and his Fiancée. "We have a problem, Jirouchi. A BIG problem." I said and looked up at him. "What kind....exactly." He said as a yellowish/orangish blur came through the window, growling at me but he stopped as he saw my pained look.
