I don't own Naruto or its characters, but I do own my OC's and the plots I create!

I woke up against a chest. I yawned and stretched. The person behind me mumbled in his sleep and turned the other way. I sat up sleepily and saw Kakashi. The recent events passed refreshed in my mind and I sighed softly.

I slid out of bed and walked downstairs. Dad looked at me and smiled as he put his chin in his palm on the table. I took a seat opposite of him and rubbed my eyes.

"How'd you sleep?" I blinked at him. "Ok....I guess." I yawned again as mom placed a plate of food in front of me. Kakashi trudged into the kitchen and sat next to me.

"Good morning, Kakashi." Dad smiled and went back to reading the paper. "Morning." He mumbled. I pushed my plate to him and he glanced at me. I smiled as mom set a plate in front of me again.

"You can stay here until we can find you a suitable place to live, ok?" Kakashi nodded and stared at his food. I looked at my food and sighed.

"Don't forget you have school today." Mom sang. I 'eeped' and snarfed my food down. I gulped the milk down and dashed to my room. I grabbed extra clothes for Kakashi and I jumped into my clothes.

I dashed downstairs and set the extra clothes next to him and dashed to the bathroom. I brushed my hair and put it up into a pony tail. I brushed my teeth and made sure dad's kunia was in my boot. I switched to boots to conceal it.

I walked out and saw Kakashi dressed and ready to go. I gave mom and dad a kiss on the cheek. "Dakota?" Dad called. "Yes papa?" I looked into the kitchen. "Do you have it?" I patted my boot. "Yes papa! Got to go! Love you!" I yelled as I grabbed Kakashi's hand and dragged him outside.

"Have what?" I stopped. "Something he gave me to protect me from the bullies." I said quietly. He gripped my shoulder. "Why didn't you tell me?" I looked at him. "Because....I can take it." I smiled and started walking to the academy.

"Kakashi-kun!" I heard Rin call as we entered the classroom. I was on my way to my normal spot when a hand grabbed my arm. I looked back to see Kakashi. He pulled me to a seat and sat me down. He sat on one side as Obito took the other side of me. Rin glared at me and I gave her a blank look.

"Take your seats!" Ibiki-Sensei yelled. Rin sat down on the other side of Kakashi across the isle. I was made to go to this class even though I was a Chuunin already. But I was going to be put in a group with kids my age to help train them with the Sensei of our team. Whoever I'm put with.

"...and team 11. Hatake Kakashi. Uchiha Obito, Nohara Rin and Namikaze Dakota." I leaned back as Obito and Rin groaned. I smiled. This should be very interesting.

"After lunch, you will be meeting your new Sensei's. Dismissed!" Ibiki-Sensei yelled. We all filled out and Kakashi never let go of my arm. Rin kept glaring at me and I ignored her.

"How dare you be so close to Kakashi-kun!" I looked around and finally looked at her, meeting her glare. "I'm sorry...did you say something?" That shocked her into silence. Guess she's never been ignored. Poor girl. I turned and saw Kotetsu and Asuma. I jumped over to them and sat down with Kakashi next to me.

"Dakota!" I heard dad yell. I perked up and saw him running our way. He came to a stop in front of us. People looked at him as he held out two boxes.

"Your mother forgot to get you lunches." I gave one to Kakashi and took the other one. "Arigato, papa." He kissed my head and I blushed. "Papa...everyone's looking." He ruffled my hair and stood. "See ya later, my little angel!" He yelled. I grumbled as I opened the box.
