2~ Dad

Something told me to go talk to him. He was just standing there all alone at his locker. So that's what I did. I tapped on his shoulder. "Umm hey Harry." I took a step back smiling.

He turned his body to face me with no emotion. It took a while for him to respond. "Uh do I know you?" He went back to whatever he was doing.

"Uh no... not really." What I really wanted to say was 'You should know me! I have had a crush on you forever duh!' But of course he hasn't noticed me.

"Then why are you talking to me?" His back was still facing me.

Ladies and gentlemen here is the Harry Styles we all know and.... Yeah no not love.

"I-I don't know." I looked at my feet.

I heard his locker slam and heard him walk away. Well that was rude... What did I expect from him though?

Me and my mom arrived home after she picked me up from school.

I walked into the house and it smelled like... Burgers. Mmm food. I was greeted by my dog, He's a golden retriever named Jake.

"Hey kiddo." My Dad walks up to me giving a side hug and a kiss on the head. He had his glasses on and was looking at something on his phone.

"Hey Dad." I smile, and watch him walk back upstairs. He's been anti-social lately.

I grab one of the burgers placing it on a plate, and another "accidentally" dropping it on the floor. "Oh oops sorry."

"EMMA! You need to stop doing that." My mom huffs loudly.

I let out a small laugh. "It was an accident okay?"

She rolls her eyes and sits down eating a hamburger with me.

"So how has dad been?" I ask taking a big bite of my hamburger. And may I say damn, this is good.

She sighs. I take that as a hint that I shouldn't bring it up. We're really confused though. He's always gone or in his office. He never talks to us anymore.

"Got it." I set down my burger not as hungry now and go upstairs to do my homework.
