September 2, 1882, a healthy baby girl was born into a wealthy and loving family. Her parents Allen and Mary Braxton, named her Aaliyah after her great grandmother. Aaliyah entered the world in an extravagant house bought by her fathers salary as a lawyer. Her first few months were smooth without any sickness or conflicts in the family.
March 2, 1883, Aaliyah received a visit from a stranger in her nursery while every one else in the house was fast asleep. Even as a baby, Aaliyah got an unusual feeling from the man and did not know whether or not to welcome its presence or start crying to get the attention of her mother. The young and naive child decided to welcome it, with smirk the stranger grabbed a small knife from the pocket of his coat and made a deep gash in the palm of his hand, sending the pooling blood into her mouth. With a flash of bright yellow eyes the stranger disappeared into the night. Aaliyah was completely oblivious that a demon with grand plans for her, had just given her a blemish on her soul that would never heal.
