-Something Old. Something New-

I wake up from my nap (that I was in and out of a lot) to see that we finally arrived at our new house. We moved from my hometown in Kantorī rando to a bigger city called Reddo-Shi, and we drove all the way. 'I'm glad we're finally here at least' I think as I stretch. I take my seat belt off and open the car door to get out. Pochi jumps out after me with his tail wagging. My younger siblings get out on the other side and stare at our new home in amazement. "Whoa!" Says my little brother, Fuyu. "This place is awesome!" said my sister, Aki right after. I just sigh and role my eyes as I help my parents with the bags in the trunk. I grab a few of them and head into the empty house. 'I guess this is a pretty nice house' I think as I walk up the stairs. When I get to the top, I notice that there are only two rooms. 'Guess that means there's another room downstairs for mom and dad.' I open the door on the right. 'This room is pretty big.' I close that door and open the one on the left. 'This one is a bit smaller. I refuse to share a room with Aki or Fuyu, so I guess I'll take this room since its smaller and its only one of me and two of them.' I put my bags down on the floor of that room then head back downstairs. I see the movers putting furniture in places that dad is telling them to, while my siblings chase Pochi around making a lot of noise and getting in the way. "Fuyu! Aki!" I yell at them and they stop running. "Stop being annoying and help out for once." They both stick their tongues out at me while Fuyu says "You're not the boss of us, Onee-chan!" and Aki says "Yeah!" right after. I role my eyes again and continue down the stairs. Fuyu is eight, and Aki is six. They both resemble our dad a bit more than I do. Black hair and brown eyes. I resemble our mom, though. They're like the best of friends. Aki follows Fuyu almost everywhere and she always finishes his sentences. They irritate me to no end, but I still love those little snotty troublemakers. They both have Calamity Soul accounts, as well (and they're surprisingly good at keeping secrets). Fuyu's name in the game is Taiyō meaning sun, while Aki's is Tsuki meaning moon. They're avatars are both tiny mice as well. They're skills aren't nearly as high as mine of course, but I help them out with fighting monsters and such. They didn't even have to lie about their ages since the game is for everyone and isn't as violent as you'd think. Kinda weird, huh? I help out my parents and the movers with boxes and the like. We took breaks every now and then, but dad really wanted everything to be moved in and settled right today, so it took us quite awhile. Luckily we started pretty early in the morning. It's night time now, and I'm lying on my now fixed up bed, with my laptop on my stomach. I'm having a group chat with Hikari and Takeshi. "Whoa! So you like it there?" Asks Hikari. "Well" I reply. "It's alright. The house is bigger than our last one at least." "Ah" Takeshi says "that's good at least." Pochi walks into my room, jumps onto my bed, and lies his head on my knees exhausted. Probably tired from dealing with Thing 1 and Thing 2 all day long. He is a pretty old dog. Suddenly, my siblings burst through my door screaming. I was right. "Found you, Pochi!" yelled Fuyu. "Yeah!" followed Aki. "Who?" questioned Takeshi as he pushed his glasses up like an anime character. "Is that your brother and sister, Mamoru-chan?" asked Hikari. I sigh and say yeah. "Hey! Get out of my room right now!" I get up and start yelling at them to control themselves. Poor Pochi is on my bed whimpering. We were yelling back and forth at each other after I had told my friends I'd talk to them later. My mom came into my room and started flipping the light switch on and off to get our attention. "Hey" she says. "Its late, so stop making so much noise before our neighbors start complaining. We just moved in, don't want them to hate us already." Our mom has never once yelled at us before, but she always finds an alternative to keeping us in check, while staying calm and collected. I liked that about her. Dad yells sometimes, though. But that's just his thing. "We're going school shopping tomorrow, so get some sleep." We all say OK at the same time, before mom leads my siblings into their room to get ready for bed. She winks at me and says goodnight. I smile and say it back, before closing my door, turning my light off, and plopping onto my bed. I don't go to sleep of course. I instead grab my laptop, and my head set, then log into the game, Pochi lying next to me (I decided to let the poor dog sleep with me tonight). 'I wanna see what Marimo's up to. It has been awhile.' I think as I log in and actually think about playing. Hope she's waiting for me.
