"Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a twin that was the complete opposite of you?" I vas talking to an elf girl, and she had asked me that question. I of course couldn't understand her talking since she's Korean and I'm French, but luckily ze speech bubbles translate to vhatever language jou speak so ozers can understand jou and vice versa. Making zings much easier in chats such as zis one. "I'm not sure" I reply. "Hmm, well then." She holds her chin viz her zumb and index finger, zinking I guess. Zere was a pair of twins sitting behind her already, staring off into space. I've seen zese twins before. Oh right! On a vanted poster in certain villages around zis area. Zere names are on ze tip of my tongue. Oh right! Artery (ze girl) and Vein (ze boy). Chinese siblings known around zese parts as ze "Bloody Twins", vanted for zeft. How awesome zat zey're sitting right there! Zough, zey're always here, and it confuses me every time I'm here myself. "Hmm" I mumble. "Lyra? Are you even listening to me?" Ze Korean elf girl, known as Nogwe-Nogoo-Nogsaeg Ip. Yeah, zat's right. Nogsaeg Ip. She snapped her fingers in front of my face, causing me to flinch. "V-vhat is it?" I ask her. She sighs, pushing her long blonde hair behind her pointy ears and says "Why do you keep coming here if you're just going to sit around and not do anything but annoy me? When people come here, they either come for healing or to have their fortune told, and you always come for the same reasons which is neither of those things. "Uh-" "You always burst through my door, sitting there, staring at the twins wondering why they get to stay while you don't" "Um-" "Or you ask me if I can see you and Kit having a future together" "Oh-" "Granted, I predicted that you and Kit would NOT have a future together the first time you came here with her, but that doesn't mean you get to freeload and continuously ask me the same things. The twins get to stay and work here, and for the last time: No, you DO NOT have a future with her!" "Ooooh..." I slump back in my seat. Ip knew me better zen I zought. Even if I do come here bugging her viz ze same zings all ze time. She folds her arms and crosses her legs, shaking her head at me. Ze twins are still just sitting zere, paying no mind to either of us. Being lost in zere own worlds, like I usually am. I sit back and put my feet on Ip's table, making her face turn red with slight anger. I really do come here for ze same zings all ze time. I'd get into a fight vith, let's say, Kit or some random stranger. Zen I'd get somezing to eat, cause fighting makes me super hungry. Zen I'd come here, and ask Ip ze same questions since I'm never satisfied viz ze answers she gives me. I always vonder vhy she has two vanted zieves vorking here, helping her make medicines, zough ze Kit question is usually a joke (Zough not really). Just vanted to see if her answers vould ever change, but ze don't. Buuuut, I do also enjoy getting on Ip's nerves. It's fun. She pushes my feet off ze table and tells me to leave. She's not a very intimidating person. She's blushing, making her less intimidating. She also has a bow and arrow hanging on her vall just for decoration. She's not a fighter, she's a hugger. Again, not very intimidating to me. I stand up and say "alright alright, I'm going. But I'll be back tomorrow" I vink at her and she yells at me, zrowing vhat looked like a potion bottle at me. "No you most certainly will not!" I just give her one of my usual grins. "There's a storm coming, Ip." Artery suddenly speaks up, causing us both to turn to her in surprise. "A storm jou say? Vell, lemme just get my raincoat from my inventory" I say sarcastically, shrugging my shoulders. "Hush now, Lyra." Ip walks over to ze twins and rubs Artery on her head like she vere a pet or somezing. Zough Kit does ze same zing viz me sometimes and it's comforting. Suddenly I hear a loud boom, zough not from here. I'm guessing it came from ze outside world, since my player seems to have disconnected her headset.

--"Ah!" 'Zunder?' Adrienne hopped out of her chair, setting her Retina Mask down on her desk then heading to her window. "It's raining?" She said confused. "How did zat Chinese girl know it vould rain-" "Ms. Allard! Dinners ready. Please come downstairs!" Adrienne's nanny interrupted her thoughts. "Coming Maria!" She logs out of Calamity Soul, turns off the monitor, then leaving the room, closing the door behind her.--

I stare at ze signal above me. Vatching it go from green to red as my player logs out. "Veird" I zought out loud. "She usually stays on for hours. Maybe she's busy" "Um, Lyra?" Are you alright? You're staring at the ceiling." I look back down and grab my scythe, zen head out ze door. I turn to Ip and smile. "Vell, I'm bored. I zink I'll head home and take a nap. Jou stay adorable, and I shall return zis afternoon." She blushes, and puffs out her cheeks saying "You said tomorrow! Don't go changing the date like that, you stupid rabbit!" She zrows anozer bottle at me, but I close ze door before it hits me. A giant grin on my face as I do so. "D-don't come back here anymore, Lyra Bones!" I hear her scream on ze ozer side of ze door. I begin valking away from Ip's house, still smiling. 'I vonder how she knew it vould rain. In ze real vorld no less. I might have another question to ask when I come back here.' I zink zis as I valk farzer avay. "Heh, vho am I kidding? Of course I'm gonna ask, oui!" I begin skipping merrily with my scythe being held behind my back. "Vat fun!"
