must've happened that we don't remember"

Kayla: "seriously!?"
"Yeah! And I'm pretty sure it wasn't destroyed in the accident!"
Kayla: "one problem..."
"Wait what?"
Kayla: "Your car is either with the police or in the middle of the GOD DAMN OCEAN!!!"
"No problem, we can just call the police to see if they have the car!"
Kayla looked at me with a 'You gotta be kiddin me' look
"What?"
Kayla: "You know there's more then one police station right?"
"Yeah well I gue-"
She interupted me.
Kayla: "And you know we were in the middle of no where so it could even be the police outta another city right?"
"Well yeah but I mea-"
She interrupted me again.
Kayla: "Also, if we looked for the car we probably couldn't find it 'cause there are NO oceans even near the city!"
"Okay well yeah..."
"Hey, by the way, do you know what hospital we're in? Mum wants to know."
Kayla: "I actually don't know"
A nurse pops around
Nurse: "We are in Mount Sinai hospital"
Wait.
What city is that in?!
Definitely not in LA.
Kayla must have heard my thinking.
Kayla: "umm what city is that in exactly..."
Nurse: "Toronto"
Wait. That's not a city in the USA.
"What Country are we in!?"
Nurse: "Canada..."
The nurse looked confused.
