"Carlos! Jay!" Mal and Evie came running into Carlos and Jay's dorm. Carlos threw his hands up in the air. "Do any of you know how to knock on a door?!" Carlos exclaimed. Mal shot him a look. 'Sorry Carlos, we're just a little freaked out and worried." She said. "What's going on?" He asked. 'Is is about Ben?" Jay added. "It turns out that my mom disguised herself as Ben, captured him, and then made me think he broke up with me!" Mal exclaimed. Carlos and Jay looked at each other, then back at Mal and Evie. "Well, this is not good." They said. "Yeah. Should we tell the others?" Evie asked. "Maybe we should tell them, because if we leave to go rescue him, we wouldn't want them to suspect anything."

"What?!" Doug, Lonnie, Jane, Audrey, and Chad said in unison. Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay had just told the others what had happened."Yeah, we have to save him!" Mal exclaimed. "How exactly are we going to do that; and by "that" I mean, how are we supposed to get there?" Evie questioned. Mal looked at her. "Maybe we could use the limo that has the thing that opens the barrier, and makes that magic bridge for us to get there. Just one problem. Do any of us know how to drive a limo?" We all shook our heads no. "Maybe we could just make the bridge and do the barrier, maybe we could just walk across the bridge?" Lonnie suggested. "No, we have to have some kind of magic to do the bridge, and the limo is magic. So, that means that the barrier thing is out too." Mal said. "Yeah." Some of the others said. Evie looked at Carlos. "Wait! Carlos, do you still have that box machine thing that you made a slight hole in the dome with?" Evie asked. Carlos nodded. "Yeah." Evie's face lit up. "I think I have an idea!" Mal looked at her. "What is it?!" She asked. Evie smiled. "Carlos can use his box thing, whatever he calls it, to slightly open the barrier, then we can use a zip line to get over to the island!" Mal looked at Evie. "I don't know. That sounds dangerous." Evie frowned. Mal's tone suddenly changed. "I'm kidding. I'm in! Let's wear dark, bold, daring colors for this. You got that guys? No bright pastel colors, ok?" She was looking at Doug, Lonnie, Jane, Audrey, Chad. They frowned. "Ok, fine."
A few hours later.......
All of the girls were wearing dark clothes with dark boots. All of the boys were just wearing dark colors. Carlos knocked on the door. "See guys, this is how you knock on a door!" Evie laughed. "Ok, cut to the chase Carlos. Did you get the tools?" She asked. "Yeah, I got everything that we need." He said. "Ok, come on, get the others, we have to get on the island." They all went outside. Mal looked at all of them. "Ok, we have to find a really high place near the island, to use the zip line." Lonnie gasped. "What about Rapunzel's tower?! It's near the island, and it's the highest place in Auradon." She suggested. "Perfect! Lead the way." Mal said. They got to Rapunzel's tower. Luckily, no one else was there. "Carlos, did you bring a grappling hook?" Mal asked. "Yeah, here." Carlos threw it at her, but it ended up hitting Jay in the face. "Oh, so you can't throw either? Well, you're better at throwing, than you are at trying to not being mortified in tourney." Jay laughed. Carlos looked like he was going to attack Jay. Before they knew it, Carlos was starting to run at Jay to fight him. Mal and Evie were blocking them from fighting each other. "Guys, guys! Focus!" Mal shot the grappling hook to the top of the tower. She started climbing it, and the others followed. "Carlos, are you ready with that box?" Mal asked when they got to the top. He nodded. "Yeah, get ready to jump, or ride down the zip line, whatever you want to call it." Carlos turned the box on. A golden flash went through the barrier of the Isle of the Lost. "Mal, now!" Mal shot the other end of the zip line through the barrier. It hook on a pole on the island. "Be careful Mal!" They all said. Mal nodded her head, and took a deep breath. She stared at the water below. You can do this Mal, she said to herself. Here we go. Mal gripped the zip line tightly in her hands. Mal suddenly jumped, then slid down the zip line. As she was getting to the end of the zip line, she felt something behind her. It was the others, trying to follow her. She jumped off, and jumped through where the slight hole was; that Carlos made. All of the others, including Carlos, jumped through after Mal. They all jumped in just in time, because the slight hole was starting to fade away.
