Katherine's POV
I turned the corner crying running away from all my problems that I couldn't bare to face. As I ran into the nearest hallway I could hear James crying out my name as I shut him and the rest the world and let my tears stream down my cheeks.

Flashback summer 2014
I don't want pizza Marisol! I told my cousin who dragged me through the luminous streets filled with noise bouncing off of every wall. Typical New York. We walked into my uncles pizza parlor as the smell of  garlic and tomatoes filled the aroma of the room. As I gave my uncle Joey a hug and placed our orders, I whiplashed and knocked myself into a strong pair of arms that held me by my waist. "Hey gorgeous your crown almost fell" the super hot hollister model said looking at me. He had such a sharp jawline I could mentally picture Marisol saying "does anyone have a bandaid cause I think I cut my finger on his jawline." Yeah Mari is my little weirdo right next to my little Ashlyn but that's why I love them!
"Sorry I um " I stuttered really wait to go you dumb a$$. "No it's fine you can pay me back with your number" he said smiling "Sorry I don't give my numbers who use shady pick up lines" I said twirled away with Marisol. "And I don't get girls numbers who try to play hard to get but really are aren't so I guess it's both our losses love " he said and out of natural instinct I threw my soda at his beautifully Greek god face. He looked at me in awe and pulled me over his shoulders and said in a raspy deep voice with hunger in his eyes "Now I won't take no for an answer " he whispers in my ear which sent tingles down my spine. I looked at Marisol for help but she stared at me like "woah girl "
"Don't get raped!" Marisol yells. Wow thanks Mari. As we walked down to the closest park from the first word when he said "let's start over I'm Jarerth Hunter I'm 16 and I really think your beautiful " that's the day I fell in love with him. After three weeks of us dating in New York everything seemed so perfect. But all good things came to an end when he left me with a letter
Dear Katherine,
Hey yeah so um schools starting and um this isn't gonna work out we had fun and all but it was just a fling see you back at school

"Katherine there you are !" James said panting and worried. "What's wrong ?" It's nothing James don't worry about me please" I told him. He frowned and wiped away my tears "princess lift your he'd up your tiaras falling" James said so sweetly. I smiled and laughed wiping my tears. "stop being so clique and cute I said letting his arms wrap around me. I leaned my head on his shoulder as he said "wanna tell me ?" "Fine but don't judge me for being so ignorant " i said and told him everything.
James POV
As I heard about what Jareth did I was so pissed and wanted to beat the crap outta him for every tear Kat wasted on him! I was so mad that she wasted time on him! "Katherine I'm so sorry you shouldn't have wasted your tears on that douchebag!" "It's fine James " Katherine said. "I would have never treated you like that yes I know what I did at the park Katherine I'm so sorry it's not my fault look when my dad died I had to take sleeping pills one day they messed them up and they effected a part of me Yahtzee made me act like that next week I have an appointment that's gonna fix it so I'll go back to normal.And I'll treat you like the queen you are" she smiled as we leaned in to kiss we were centimeters apart as we heard a cough we turned and saw Jareth.
