Broken Promise

Kelly's Pov

When I got home, Richard was sitting on the couch talking on the phone. When he saw me, he immediately started to closing the conversation with whomever it was. Talk about weird.

Richard: Where were you?

I just kept walking. Right now I'm not trying to hear this.

Richard: Kelly where the hell were you?

Me: I was at work.

Richard: Why are you just now getting home?

Me: I had to help Trey with his album.

Richard: Why?

Me: That's what friends do. They help one another.

Richard: You act like I don't help you.

Me: You don't.

Richard: So I don't help you, but yet I run your bathwater, cook your dinner, and give you sex when you want it.

Me: That last part is inaccurate. You don't give me sex at all. As for the other stuff, you don't ever do that. You're never here.

Richard: But a dude who has been MIA for 5 years can come back into your life and still be your best friend?

Me: Yes! He's been my friend for many many years. I grew up with him.

Richard: But that was the past and this is now. 

Me: And what's going on right now is you're not here.

Richard: No what's going on is you're in love with him. He's got your heart. I saw it when yall looked at each other. You looked at him like you were about to say," I do."

Me: So what are you trying to tell me?

Richard: We can't be together.

And to think that I stopped myself from sleeping with Trey more than once for him. I need to get out of here. That's exactly what I'm gonna do.

I packed all of my stuff and left his place. I'll just go to my "office." 

Trey's Pov

I'm laying in Kelly's bed and I feel the bed dip. The next thing I feel is a smaller body next to me.

Me: Kelly?

Kelly: (crying) Yeah.

Me: What's wrong?

Kelly: He broke up with me.

Me: please don't cry. You're too pretty.

Kelly: Don't lie.

I got on top of her and we kissed. 

Me: You are. I wouldn't lie to you. I just want you to be happy.

Kelly: Please Trey.

Me: What you want?

Kelly: Make love to me.

I might be breaking my promise, but I will do anything to make her happy.
